Saints Sign Keeper On One Month Contract
Southampton have signed free agent Willy Caballero on a one month deal to cover for injuries to both Fraser Forster and Alex McCarthy, will it be an inspired signing or a failure, we will soon find out.
Ralph Hasenhuttl doesn’t.seem to be happy with any of his keepers at the moment, Alex McCarthy has endured.a torrid few games and felt his managers wrath on Saturday with Ralph accusing him of being unprofessional, in truth it is hard to see that he has a future at the club after that outburst.
With Fraser Forster picking up an injury in training Saints have acted fast and signed former Chelsea and Manchester City keeper Willy Caballero.
The only problem with this is that the Argentinian has barely played a game in 7 years since joining City, he barely got into City.s side playing only 23 Premier League games in 3 years and then only 11 in 4 at Stamford Bridge.
That is not going to set the pulses racing but at the moment devils can’t be choosers.
