The Ugly Inside is fielding it's all star veteran side in SDIFTK's Charity football tournament on Saturday at the Saints Pub in Millbrook, come down and cheer us on and help a great charity.

Southampton Doing It For The Kids is a great local charity run by Saints supporters who have raised large amounts of money for local kids and their parents who are at a disadvantage in life for one reason or another.

The competition will kick off at 1pm on Saturday 30th July at 1pm and the venue is the Bush Hill FC ground at Mansel Park in Millbrook next to the Saints Pub. The game will be played under Veterans rules of over 40's with a maximum of three under 40's on the pitch at any given time.

Four teams will take part in the tournament which is ranked second in UEFA's competition's this summer and also has a guarantee that there will be no Russian Ultra's in the area.

The Ugly Inside will be putting out it's all star side with many years experience although not many at football.

The SDIFTK's charity will be putting out a side themselves and the other two teams come from firstly The Angel Pub and secondly the Saints Pub who as the home side so to speak will be putting out a side comprised of local legends which are expected to swell the gate by several. (Just several)

There will be two semi finals followed by a third placed game and the final itself for a trophy kindly donated by Eugene of The Saints Pub.

The tournament is expected to last between 1pm and 5pm with each game starting on the hour up to the final at 4pm.

The Saints Pub will be supplying refreshments to those taking part and also spectators and there will be entertainment on the day.

All of the profit goes to a very worthwhile cause in what will be an annual event.
