Go Fourth And Multiply

With the International's meaning there is a fortnight between games, it leaves Saints supporters with an extended period to bask in the heady heights of fourth.

Most Saints supporters will have a view on the games this season and like most football supporters their opinion's will differ greatly, even after Sunday's games there were vast contrasting views on how well one player or another performed.

But with the International break meaning that there will be two weeks with little real football news from St Mary's the time is here to just sit back and enjoy being not only 4th in the Premier League but sitting in the Champions League places.

Of course its early days yet and there are many who would say a league table truly doesn't start to take shape till after ten games, but when we look at were we were after 7 games last year and where we are now then there is something to feel happy about, yes Saints have got lucky in a couple of games, but they have been evened out by other performances.

So although it would be foolish to start bragging about our position or indeed to assume we will still be there come May when it really counts, we can have that smug glow of satisfaction of a job that has so far been well done.

So lets enjoy for a wek or so before we get back to reality.
