Warnock to suceed O'Driscoll?

As he was hotly linked with a move to the City Ground in the summer, it should be no surprise that Neil Warnock has been named as one of the candidates with one bookie offering 20-1 on him being the next Forest coach.

Having stunned the footballing world by sacking Sean o'Driscoll following their 4-2 romp over Leeds, Forest have announced there are three candidates, a current Premiership boss, an ex Premiership boss and a manager in the Championship.

According to sky bet (there are other bookies out there btw) present favourite this morning is Roy Keane at 6/4 who would fit the ex Premiership manager tag having led Sunderland to the promised land. Mark Hughes and Roberto Di Matteo are 3-1.

Our very own Neil Warnock is 20-1, you could also have Stan Collymore and David Beckham both at 50-1.

It would be unlikely for Leeds to let Warnock leave, particularly when the new owners paid such a glowing tribute towards him last week. Leeds also managed to hold on to Warnock when it was believed he was ready to upsticks in the summer, frustrated on how his summer rebuilding plans were moving on.
