Watford Preview

Although tomorrow's visit of Watford was pencilled in as the long awaited return if Ross McCormack it seems unlikely last seasons top scorer will feature against the Hornets at Elland Road.

How Leeds could do with someone of McCormack's prowess in front of goal at the moment as defeat at Burnley saw us slide to 15th. So unless Neil Warnock does get his wish and manages to get a loan striker in tonight, we will be watching Diouf and Becchio huffing and puffing up front yet again!

Warnock may however decide to unleash Ryan Hall on the wing to add a bit of pace to the flanks and hopefully a little more creativity than Aidy "Cul de Sac" White. Hall, on loan from Southend stepped up his fitness programme midweek scoring four times in a 5-0 development squad win over Derby and really Warnock as nothing to lose giving Hall his full debut.

Adam Drury is definitely out at left back, as is Tom Lees. My hunch is Danny Pugh will play left back with Lee Peltier, himself a minor doubt partnering Jason Pearce in the centre of defence. I hope this is the case as I have not been overly impressed with Pelts in the full-back roles this season and would much prefer Sam Byram at right back tomorrow.

Defenders Danny Pudil and Fitz Hall are both doubts for Gianfranco Zola's side, who held Millwall to a goalless draw midweek. Last season Watford easily won this fixture 2-0 with Scottish international Chris Iwelumo scoring both goals.
