Fans to vote for MOTM
Dale fans will be now be able to vote for their man of the match by mobile phone at the next home game in a trial system being operated, and they could win a pair of match tickets for doing so.
The trial service will allow supporters to vote for the player they believe to have been Dale's best on the day. It will first be used when Dale host Dagenham on Saturday 22nd September
All supporters have to do is text DALE followed by the squad number of their MOTM to 87474. So if your choice for MOTM was Jason Kennedy, you'd text DALE 7.
The phone lines will be open from kick off all the way through to 6pm, allowing that vote to take place even as you disect the game back at home or in the pub.
Votes will cost supporters 25p plus the standard network message rate and any votes sent after 6pm may still be charged but will not count towards the poll, and one supporter selected at random will be given a pair of match tickets for the home game of their choice.
The results will be announced on Monday on the official website, along with the draw to see which supporter has won a pair of match tickets.
