Pictures of Lillis
Another day, another signing as Dale secure the services of former loan keeper Josh Lillis on a two year contract.
It would seem that John Coleman has at last sorted out a goalkeeping problem that has surrounded the club for the last few years in that we have pretty much been forced to survive on the services of loan keepers or stand ins.
The signing of Josh Lillis will be seen as a massive boost by supporters as he returns to a club where he impressed during his previous times. The 24 year old keeper stands 6'2 and has made nearly ninety appearances in a career that has seen him have loan spells at Notts County and Grimsby.
This will be in fact Lillis' third spell with the club after a one match loan spell during the promotion season where we won 4-0 away at Bournemouth. Following the promotion, then Dale boss Keith Hill had no hesitation in securing his services again this time for six months. That spell would have been longer had it not been for injuries at his parent club.
