McCarthy One of Five Changes at Birmingham
Alex McCarthy makes his debut in goal for the Blues at Birmingham this evening, while Andy Drury, Lee Martin, Tommy Smith and Jason Scotland a recalled to the starting line-up.
As predicted, Drury will be in the centre of midfield alongside Grant Leadbitter, while Martin is on the left and Scotland is up front with Jay Emmanuel-Thomas. Tommy Smith starts at the centre of the defence for the first time since the Southampton match in September.
Arran Lee-Barrett, Nathan Ellington and Josh Carson drop to the bench, while Luke Hyam and the injured Damien Delaney aren’t in the 16. Full match preview here.
