Will There Be Clues At Yeovil ?
Will the fixture at Yeovil Town on Saturday give any clues as to the starting line up for the Leeds game.
With the season being only a week away, Saints fans wil look closely at Nigel Adkins team for the visit to Yeovil as a guide to what his thinking for the new season might be.
Some have mentioned how Bart Bialkowski seems to have got more game time than Kelvin Davies in pre season and from that point of view this will be the first position the supporters will look at.
But it doesnt just stop there, with a squad that has at least two players capable in every position, Nigel Adkins having won promotion might be ready to start to impose his own ideas on the team a little more, by that I mean that last year he came in and saw the situation, he didnt rock the boar too much and basically kept faith with the core of the side under Alan Pardew, now however he might be looking to freshen things up a little.
This being the case, in truth there might not be too many people who are an automatic choice, Jose Fonte would be one, Adam Lallana another, Chamberlain if he stays and probably Rickie Lambert, but those four apart the places are up for grabs.
At right back it could be Butterfield it could be Richardson, in the centre will it still be Jaidi or will Martin get a chance, at left back will he keep faith with Harding or prefer Dickson, the centre of midfield is even more intrigueing with Chaplow, Hammond, Cork & Schneiderlin all vying for two spots, up front Barnard & Connolly will be vying for the other spot and we havent even mentioned Guly, De Ridder, Holmes and Forte.
There are plenty of shirts up for grabs, but will Adkins reveal any of his hand in this friendly or prefer to keep his cards close to his chest.
From that point of view it might be an interesting game, certainly you would hope that the tempo is picked up a little with the season so close

Leeds ease to comfortable win over DerbyThe game played out as most of the fans on both sides would have predicted, apart from the identity of the two goalscorers. It took a while for us to break down a stubborn Derby County defence, but once we had scored the two goals there was only going to be one way this game was going to finish.
Leeds drawn at home to Harrogate in the FA CupTonight’s draw for the third round of the FA Cup threw up several local derbies, and the most enticing of all must be our all-Yorkshire clash with Harrogate Town, with the two clubs being only 15 miles apart.

But it was a shame the team picked the game with our biggest travelling support of the season to serve up one of their worst away performances.
Blackburn AwaydazeThis season’s trip to Blackburn Rovers is tomorrow with kick-off at 1.30, provided the pitch has dried out enough after last week’s postponement. Once again it looks like we’ll be taking the biggest away following in the Championship this season.
Farke sees room for improvement despite victoryLeeds duly went back to the top of the table with a fairly routine victory over Luton Town, but Daniel Farke thought the win should have been even more emphatic when he spoke to the BBC after the game.
Leeds fighting spirit wins through as we beat Swansea to go topLeeds were twice behind in this incredible game at Swansea City, and then seemed to have victory snatched away right at the death.
