LFW Pub Guide - Days Inn

Further afield, and part of a hotel, but if you’re coming from South Ruislip tube it may be of some use.

Name of pub: Days Inn South Ruislip.

Location: Next to South Ruislip Underground Station

Size: Medium size hotel bar.

Selection of beers? Average, I'll look carefully next time.

Price of drinks? Seems to be typical for the suburbs - sensible as opposed to more central prices.

How full does it get on a matchday? Not very, same gang of South Ruislip based R's pre and post match.

How fit are the bar staff? Usual combination of attractive, young eastern European females.

How long does it take to walk to the ground from there? Two minutes to South Ruislip Station, 20 minutes to White City on the central and then five minutes to Loftus Road.

Sky Sports/ESPN? Yes.

Suitable for away fans? Yes, but probably would not think to go in there.

Suitable for families and kids? Yes - usual haunt of several Rangers families.

What's the smoking situation? The whole of outdoor area of South Ruislip is at your beck and call.

Beer garden? No. If you want that then you need to go next door to "The Middlesex" which has both front and rear beer gardens.

As far as pub toilets go, just how bad are these? Hotel standard fare.

Does it serve food and is it any good? Yes, Indian and Italian - which is a bit strange.

Trendy modern bar, traditional pub or somewhere in between? Modern hotel bar.

In one sentence why should people visit/steer clear of this pub? It’s clean, nice sofas, quiet, next to the station and you can always nip next door to The Middlesex to fight the Chelsea if that is your heart’s desire.

Any other business? http://www.daysinnheathrow.com/

Late Drama at Hull: Leeds Held to a Draw After Meslier's Costly Error

Hull Awaydaze

It was a disappointing end to the holiday season as Leeds took most of the game to break down a stubborn Blackburn Rovers side, and then allowed our opponents to grab a late equaliser. It won’t be a game that will live long in the memory.
Top of the Table: Leeds finish 2024 at the summit after Stunning Team Goal!
Once again we dominated the possession in an away game, but struggled to make it count. That was before a superb team goal in the 79th minute finally broke through the Derby County defence, and that proved to be enough to ensure that we finish 2024 on top of the Championship table.
Farke Seeks Improvement Despite Comfortable Win in the Fog
Even though we went back to the top of the table Daniel Farke thought we should have won more comfortably, but we were more than good enough to beat a woeful Stoke City. For the third time in 2024 a Leeds win cost an opposing manager his job, after Narcis Pelach was called in to collect his P45 yesterday morning.
Derby Awaydaze
Our first visit to Derby County four five years is at 5.45pm tomorrow, which has of course been dictated by Sky Sports. We’re not famous any more!
Stoke Awaydaze
Our visit to Stoke City is on Boxing Day evening, with kick-off at 8pm, having been put back by our very good friends at Sky Sports.
