LFW Pub Guide - The Eagle

The Eagle on Askew Road offers a decent range of quality, but pricey, food.

Name of pub: The Eagle

Location: Askew Road (Near the Goldhawk Road end)

Size: Medium (Big if you include the dining area)

Selection of beers? Decent selection of draught lagers, ales and ciders.

Price of drinks? 3.50ish

How full does it get on a matchday? It doesn't. You might spot a couple of QPR shirts.

How fit are the bar staff? Couple of girls last time I went were extremely do-able.

How long does it take to walk to the ground from there? 15-20 minutes.

Sky Sports/ESPN? Yep

Suitable for away fans? Suppose so

Suitable for families and kids? Yes

What's the smoking situation? Massive garden as well as an area at the front of pub with tables.

Beer garden? Yes. With grass and everything!

As far as pub toilets go, just how bad are these? Excellent.

Does it serve food and is it any good? Yes. Good but quite expensive. Very good burgers.

Trendy modern bar, traditional pub or somewhere in between? Gastropubby.

In one sentence why should people visit/steer clear of this pub? Visit - No queuing for drinks, definitely a pub to visit when it's sunny thanks to proper beer garden. Stay away - Quite far from stadium and not exactly much atmosphere.

Any other business? You can take a shortcut from here to the Triangle of Death (BQ, Conny, Addy) so can be a good place to start.
