Lillis back for Dale
Goalkeeper Josh Lillis is ready for a return to first team action for Dale assuming that our Xmas matches beat the big freeze.
Lillis was forced out of the recent home game with Oldham Athletic with a hamstring injury that had looked like it had curtailed his time with Dale. But a rapid return to fitness combined with postponements has meant that he has only missed one game for Dale, and will be available for selection for our trip to Notts County on Boxing Day.
Looking further long term, the indications are that Scunthorpe are likely to agree to an extension to his loan deal, but they will be insistent on a recall clause - something they fell foul of during his current loan spell, and with rumours in the footballing world suggesting a move for Scunny's first choice keeper Joe Murphy, they may be needing Lillis sooner rather than later.
