Sadly its a Premier League team, but at least it is at home and Saints will fancy their chances of beating a side whom they have not lost against in two encounters this season.
At the moment all ties are scheduled for Wednesday 2nd March but the day could change for TV.

A very tough game but at least at home can we allocate the bear minimum though ?

And all the other prem clubs get an easy pass, typical.

Agree with wibbersda. If ever a draw looked like it was rigged, this is it!

Any statisticians out there who can tell us the probability of a draw like this?

That’s a fix, every top side with an easy draw

Tricky one, looks like all PL Quarter finals on the cards. No easy route for anyone this year.

Hard game but definitely winnable, a 0-0 and 2-3 away win already this season against WH should mean that we at least have a chance, an away game with Man City or Liverpool and we’d have been in real trouble. Early days but I’m going to say a sneaky 1-0 Saints win.

Could have been better but also could have been a lot worse. West Ham are beatable as we have proved. Problem being its only a few days before Villa away, so maybe a a few rested? Lets get behind whatever team is out there, we'll definitely have a stronger starting eleven than yesterday! COYR

Shame Kidderminster couldn’t have hung on!

A couple of questions I believe we have to give 15% to away fans , is that correct? Also saints give part of the Northam to away fans for PL games on police advice? I’m sure they’ve said it makes it easier to segregate & control.I’m not saying it’s good but it won’t change midseason

Note that in the ties above Leicester should be replaced with Forest, meaning there are 9 PL and 7 lower-league clubs left. MancunianSaint, here are some relevant probabilities: Probability of Saints being drawn against a PL side: 8/15 (obviously) Probability of none of the four "top-six" clubs being drawn against each other: 8/13 Probability of there being exactly one all-lower-league tie and hence two all-PL ties: 47% (that calculation took some real doing) Given that there are in fact two all-PL ties, probability of Saints being involved in one of them: 4/9 So nothing terribly odd or improbable about the draw. In my view we neither got lucky (home draw against a lower-league side and 2 top-six clubs drawn against each other), nor got particularly unlucky (away draw against one of the top-six clubs). Bring on the Hammers and then the QFs! ...and hopefully Boreham Wood ;)

Thanks for that carolina. I don't think the draw is rigged. Too many people would have to know and it would be on the front pages within a week. The cup needs a few other teams to get to the final. Excluding Saints I would much rather watch, say, a Forest vs Everton final than watch yet another big three contest. Yes, the TV people want the biggest clubs to survive but I get no pleasure from yet another Man City Chelsea final...
