That’s about the size of it. Chelsea have been over by 220 million in the last two years and have sold a hotel and their women’s team to their parent company to offset it. They sold the women’s team on June 28th last year for an undisclosed sum, believed to be 150 million. |

I see Chelsea sold their women’s team to themselves for 150 million to offset their PSR for the season. That seems dead fair. |
| Forum Reply | Everton Sack Sean Dyche at 08:26 11 Jan 2025
I think he was more referring to going to a club for six months just to keep a club up on a short term contract. He’s been given a 2 1/2 year contract by all accounts. |
| Forum Reply | Everton Sack Sean Dyche at 07:18 10 Jan 2025
Hopefully Moyes will come in on a six month contract, make them stable and then they can attract a new manager in the summer when they have the new stadium. Dyche has been awful this season. Everton have scored twice in ten games, he tried to nil nil every match and the players hated the way they’ve been asked to play. I’ve been to nine games this season and saw one goal. There’s anti-football and there’s this. |

Happy New Year Saints. Wishing you all well for 2025. Less said about the football for both of us though. |

Howard Kendall? Won two league titles, one FA Cup, one European Cup Winners Cup. Howard Wilkinson, was he the last English manager to win the league? Joe Royle won the FA Cup in 95. Don’t think many English managers have won it since. |

The way City have imploded in the last six weeks or so makes me think that the players are staff have been given the heads up on their ongoing hearing. If it doesn’t go in their favour, that is all 115 charges in their favour, then they could be screwed and be relegated at the very least. Leaving at least one staying up spot up for grabs. Oh and belated Merry Christmas Saints, hope you all had a good one. [Post edited 27 Dec 2024 8:09]

A massive divisive bellend who blames everything and everyone other than himself. It’s never his fault. Should be fun. |
| Forum Reply | VAR again at 20:01 10 Dec 2024
Wolves have been getting battered by VAR for about 18 months, regardless of who or where they are playing. Hence they were the only ones who voted to have it removed at the beginning of the season. There is an obvious bias towards the snide six, but Wolves get shafted in games against most clubs. I feel for O’Neill, he must be tempted to lose his shit in post match interviews and call it out. |
| Forum Reply | VAR again at 06:19 10 Dec 2024
To say there is a biased towards Everton is laughable. This is the same Everton who were deducted a total of eight points, a larger punishment than Forest, never ever get a penalty and get shafted by VAR on a regular basis. The Forest game being a one off. I do feel for Wolves and especially O’ Neill. They are on the wrong end of VAR far too many times. That was definitely a penalty last night, both were. He’s also had to sell his best players due to FFP, more grating is that one of them was to Chelsea (Pedro Neto) for whom FFP doesn’t include. |

That’s because of El Sackio tomorrow. There’s a good chance that one of those managers tomorrow night will get the bullet on Tuesday. |

Moyes was fantastic at Everton, he knew how to make the most of the hand he was dealt and wins were routine. If the Moyes of 2004-2012 or whatever it was, was in 2024 he would be linked with Chelsea and United every summer. At that time there were lots of good managers so he probably didn’t get the credit he deserved. He’s been linked with Everton recently and a lot of blues would like and trust him to take him to the new stadium. He is a massive improvement on the David Brent, fist pumping, philosophy Martin. |

Can’t help but feel that Potter will be a West Ham manager by this time next week. |

A few years ago I was in a bar in town around Christmas time with a group of friends including two girls who were a couple. A gang of top notch cracking banterists came in and noticing that the girls were a couple, quite rightly demanded that they perform some sort of sex act in front on the lads as way of entertainment, it was Christmas after all. The girls, being all woke, totally refused. One of the lads in our group, also being woke, asked the gang of banter merchants, all in their fifties, to back off and was punched in the face. When did this country go so woke that middle aged men can’t even sexually harass women that they’ve never met. Country of snowflakes. |

There’s a lot of talk of Potter coming to Everton when the new owners come in December. Dyche’s lack of attacking intent could see the end of him, although he’s only got a few more months on his contract. We will see. |

If Saints fans don’t attend the match, won’t this just mean more local Liverpool ‘fans’ buying the tickets? |

When he took the life of Virgil Van Dead a few years ago in that horrific murderous act that he should have gone to prison for, the writing was on the wall for large parts of the media and their cretinous followers. |
