| Forum Thread | Looks like we'll be seeing Tony McMahon again next season ... at 09:23 25 May 2015
.. thankfully in a Bradford shirt!! TONY McMahon is in line for a permanent switch to Valley Parade once the dust settles at Blackpool. Phil Parkinson is keen to add his versatility and experience to the squad after the 29-year-old caught the eye on loan at the end of last season. He has opened talks with the player, who started City's final four games, and is confident that a deal will be done. Former Blackpool skipper McMahon is not being retained by the crisis-hit Tangerines, who are currently down to eight senior players and no manager. Parkinson said: "I would like to keep Tony if I can. I thought he did very well and showed his versatility and he has good football intelligence. |

Making the point that the FL are going to act against QPR for over-spending and so why not act against Blackpool for the opposite. I suppose the problem is that KO will prove that we have spent money - just very unwisely. Despite the rhetoric, I really don't believe the FL will ever intervene in a badly run club.

| Forum Thread | Clark or the Team defensive? at 09:59 29 Dec 2014
Interesting listening to Clark yesterday saying the players didn't follow orders in the first half and am just wondering if we have a team of overly defensive players or they just don't listen to instructions. Seems to me the best thing that happened yesterday was Perks going off and replaced by Orlandi who is at least forward thinking. |

| Forum Thread | Fulham lose again at 23:38 21 Nov 2014
Was amazed to look at the table and see they're 12 points clear of us - good improvement from them and shows how poor we are - anyhow lost tonight to Brentford and so a chance to close the gap a bit on Saturday! |
| Forum Thread | Do you know anyone out of work? at 11:19 12 Nov 2014
Just made me think with the unemployment figures out, I don't think I know anyone who is out of work. Don't know if this is because of the social circles I move in but interesting I don't know anyone claiming dole? |
| Forum Thread | Is Chris Nathanial playing us all for fools? at 11:05 12 Nov 2014
If the meeting with Riga was just with BST and was to answer fans questions about his time at BFC then I would have thought fair enough and good on him. The fact the Daily Fail, the Guardian and anyone who would listen was there makes me think this was nothing more than Riga giving out a glorified CV. Karl Oyston is the Devil incarnate but Riga's agent has manipulated everyone with this meeting. |
| Forum Thread | Is this where we should be? at 14:16 29 Oct 2014
For all the fans talk about backing and spending bags of cash, has Mick McCarthy (and other before him) proved you don't need to spend a fortune? Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy proud of '£10,000' squad Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy praised his side for competing with Championship big spenders Nottingham Forest in Saturday's 2-2 draw. Town's team consisted of free transfers and loan signings aside from the £10,000 paid for Tyrone Mings. In contrast, Forest paid a club-record £5.5m fee in the summer for striker Britt Assombalonga. "The players who have come in can be proud, but we have to keep doing it," McCarthy told BBC Radio Suffolk. "Forest would be champions elect in a lot of people's minds. They've spent a chunk of money. "I look at it and there's 10 grand on the pitch that we've spent. It looks well spent on Tyrone Mings. |
| Forum Thread | Will the fans applaud Lee Clark on Saturday? at 15:48 28 Oct 2014
One person who can't be blamed for this shambles is Lee Clark and presuming he is the man to take over the reins at Bloomfield Road I hope he gets a decent reception on Saturday (presuming that he takes the side?) |
