Yep was at that one and on my birthday to add to the delight. Zero shots on target and zero corners at Blackburn takes some doing. Around the time it all went horribly wrong after the highs of the late Austin winner against WBA, Barbet’s last minute goal at Ashton Gate etc. |

Surely not a commercial decision from Blackburn to have one person selling tickets from 11:30 - 12:30. They’d need to sell approximately one ticket for it to be worth it. A police decision I assume albeit still baffling. Fair play to anyone mad enough tomorrow. It’s one of the dullest away matches at the best of times. |

Scott Sinclair was pretty underwhelming and somehow blagged himself silly money at City and overall had a good career. Some trophies in there at Celtic, still playing at Bristol Rovers I think.
Wouldn’t say Ben Sahar ripped up trees anywhere but also got some big clubs on his CV and plenty of caps.
Tom Heaton got England caps in that weird spell you were never more than ten yards from an England player. Just the one game for us but from memory he had quite a good game at Chelsea. |

Had this a season or two ago. Email them with a block and seat you like if you know what’s available and they get back to you quickly enough. Anything online but buying a single away ticket sends the website into a frenzy for some reason. Most businesses make it incredibly convoluted to stop them taking your money (try cancelling a Now Tv subscription) but we make buying tickets for a half-full away match some sort of Olympic sport. |

I don’t mind it. The argument when they whine about too many games is they have ample millionaires barely playing football who can come in.
The Watford disallowed goal is something Haaland does on an almost weekly basis. Terrible decision. |

The one at Reading was one of the goalkeeping howlers of the season.
Never say never and he’s still reasonably young but I think it’s his level. Then again I’d have said the same for Smyth and Saturday aside I think he’s had a very good season thus far. |

If you were him I don’t see why you’d bother now. Doesn’t come across as someone who loves it (could be wrong), unlimited money in the bank and he can make plenty more without risking his health for a living. Sack it off, take a million for doing Strictly Come Dancing and money for old rope commentating or even better just enjoy the dough and live a great 40-50 years in luxury anywhere in the world. |

The manager sounded pissed pre-match. Huge turnover of players in the summer after they gambled big on promotion last season. Hopefully it all ends in tears.
Saying that, Gibson should have been sent off early on for an elbow totally missed by the officials in the middle of the box. |

Yeah very passive first half when our best chance was probably to get into them early and make a fight of it (though the referee seemed intent on making it a non-contact match). Had a bit of a go and suddenly you realise they’ve got players like Henderson and Richards you can get at and one or two (Mateta) who didn’t fancy it.
Bit annoyed. Probably not as annoyed as I once would have been which is sad in itself. If we go out and smash Millwall then fair enough but yeah I’d like to see a quarter-final some day and I’m almost halfway to 70. |
