Thread | Saito, stick or twist?

Just over half way through the season and I wonder what the opinion of the board is regarding whether to retain Saito for next season or not.
First up, I just love the bloke, always smiling, getting stuck in and his little bows when substituted. I can’t wait until he gets, hopefully, his first goal.
But would I keep him? Reluctantly, I’d have to say no. I don’t think he influences games enough and would be looking for someone else next season. Having said 🤞 he has a great end of the season and changes my mind. |

Is there any LOGICAL reason why our game tonight has been moved for Sky transmission? It’s being screened at the same time as their flagship “MNF” program which is showing a live Premier League game. I just can’t see anyone tuning into this isn’t a supporter of either team and the viewing figures will be woeful, so why move and televise this fixture? |

Still can’t understand how that shot of Celars missed. I was right behind it in the paddock and it was in, it really was in I jumped up and had enough time to say at last, Celars scored but somehow it defied the laws of physics and went past the post |

Going to a game at Cambridge with my brother and before the days of Sat Nav, seeing the team bus and saying ‘follow that coach, they’ll know where the ground is’ and getting so close behind them that we ended up going through a set of double gates and parking right behind the coach before the gates were closed again. Even better, Clive Allen gave us a couple of complimentary tickets.
On a more poignant note, going to the game against Swansea and being in the paddock behind Taarabt when he scored that goal. It was the last game my Dad ever went to after him taking to my first in the 1950s |
