| News Comment | Who Might Go In The Saints Clear Out ! at 14:59:52
I’d sell Romeu, Cedric, Gabbi, Yoshida Forster and Austin. Then I would try to buy Clyne back and if there is one good pacy centre back, that would fit and recall Carillo and reed. |

The biggest problem with our cb’s is not who plays. There is enough quality. But of there is a four man defence, then Cedric can’t play as part of it. If there is 5 man defence, then Cedric can play as there is enough cover at the box. I’ve lost count on how many times our cb’s have been poimted at finger when Cedric has made mistakes and cb’s have been the ones to get the blame. With the players available, Targett should be playing as a right back if we are to play four man defence. Then we could win a game using 4 defenders. Also Romeu has been very poor in last 1,5 seasons and hasn’t helped our cb’s as he should have done. |
| News Comment | A Dose Of Realism Needed With the Outgoing Loan Deals at 12:06:26
I don’t think that Armstrong, Ely,JWP or Davies are defensive midfield players so they cant be compared to Reed. But there are three players ahead of him: Hojbjerg, Lemina and Romeu. And if You look at it a bit more closely, Reeds only competitor is Romeu who can’t be that much better than Reed if You think about how good Reed was at Norwich and how badly Romeu has played in many games lat year and in the start of this season. But loaning him makes sense and we should expect Reed to nail down a starting place next season ahead of Romeu unless Romeu finds much better form. I think Saints can only benefit loaning young players out and this time it’s now different. Targett, Reed, Gallagher and Sims along with Stephens and JWP are close and hopefully they can fight their way to the first team regulars. All have the potential, but in two years time they have to prove it. |

Yep, like I said before the game, Cedric should not play in part of back for because he can’t defend higher balls and that is why our central defenders seem to be so poor: they cant concentrate on defending themselves because they are affraid of Cedric losing his plot. Im not saying Cedric is a bad player, quite opposite, but he just doesnt fit in a back four. Romeu has, just like Forster, confindence so low that I think it would be better if Lemina or Reed and Hojbjerg were playing as dmc roles. JWP had a very good game and was one of our better players, I think he also assisted the goal and Ings might just be what we have been missing. Wait untill henand Austin & Gabbi starts to find the back of the net. We’ll be dancing again! |

The problem lies here, if Huhges opts to play back four, then don’t play Cedric because he can’t defend higher balls in the box. If Hughes opts 3central defenders, then Romeu can not be payed as a defensive midfielder, because he plays too deep and unables Saints to attack. |
