Luke Williams : Coleman was like a madman : I’ve got more experience than all
at 13:23 20 Feb 2025

It appears, from another great site report, that the decision had mostly been made the week before and the hold up was due to a death in the family of a major stakeholder.
Williams was axed the day before Montague started so out of his hands.
But, I do agree with you that the connection between the two did not protect Williams.
I was one who thought that it would, but, clearly you were right there

Assistant manager to the Bob with the US.
Bob has a very lengthy CV of clubs in the US and some in Europe. Still one if our worst managers ever.
March avoided the drop on the last day of the season with Leeds. They started that day bottom.
Was then fired for not being too impressive the next season.

Marsch has a very gpod win ratio, but most of that is from his time in Austria.

Full Swansea City restructure
at 10:24 20 Feb 2025

There seems to be a lot of senior managerial figures at the club now.
I understand that it is a multi million pound business, so there are a lot of jobs to do. But, that's a lot of budget being spent on increasing revenues when the number one factor that increases revenues for a football club is on pitch success.
Having people there on big wages to squeeze another drop out of corporate boxes for a club facing relegation is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Eric Ramsay : Casemiro praise & could Dennis Lawrence return to Swansea ?
at 22:34 19 Feb 2025

He is rated as one if the best young coaches in the world. He .ay not have much management experience but has more coaching experience than anyone else his ages. He is the youngest person to ever gain their UEFA pro badges.
If he can get the best out of what we have got and bring on our youngsters then he is exactly what we are looking for.
4 more wins and we are safe, with Sheehans help I think he would do really well for us.
I'd rather him than another short term fix with someone else just because they've managed in the Championship before

He got off to a fantastic start and finished the season very strongly. There was a big dip in the middle because the US season coincided with the Copa America and they lost a number of key players and had to carry on without them.
He plays fast, counter attacking football and set club records for away goals scored amongst others.

O'Neil doesn't have a great record at Wolves or Bournemouth. I wouldn't put him as first choice

12 months at Oxford isn't a great deal of relevant experience

Was Melker Widell a gift to Coleman from Richard Montague ?
at 07:35 17 Feb 2025

We don't know how much of a gift Widdell is until he has played for us.
If he isn't up to it, then he is a very expensive present. That money could have been spent on 3 or 4 decent Championship players to haul us up this season.
Martinez and Jones brought us Bodde, Angel, Scotland and De Vries for around £100k.

Have you seen their new training facilities? They are a huge state of the art complex.
I know that doesn't count towards the fair play rules, but that is a hell of an investment for a club who average less than 20k gates.
You only have to look at our demise to see how rapidly the money can disappear

Aren't we already paying Coleman around £500k.
He can go back to his day job of running a hotel and take Gude with him.
That frees up nearly £1m a year to bring in an experienced chairman with relevant experience.

People did look at the summer transfer business as positive at the time. But how many of those players still look like positive recruits? Vigoroux and Franco? Eom and Vipotnik look terrible in general. Ronald has been here a year and is a shade of the player he was.
The main investors must see that Williams is devaluing their investment at an alarming rate

You have to really worry about the club setup if Notts County have a far better scouting process than we do.
7 years in the Prem, 6 in the Championship and we have nothing in place. We are being bettered by a League 2 club either a glorified version of Football Manager on the PC
Where did all of the money go?
