I think people sometimes forget just how much in football, on the pitch and off it, is down to luck and serendipity. We are not playing like Luton or even Milwall, but their form might yet sag like R's has. And we are not Stoke or Cardiff either. I am behind Les. |

Totally agree with your comments about Warbs. It is a very bad run, but that happens. Given the many improvements we have seen and the decent ratio of points to wages spent, I suspect it is the tide rather than the current and he should be given the benefit of the doubt for now. |

No need to excuse the yearning for 'savage amusement' Clive. Think of it like the early Christians, using scourges and hair shirts. |

Me too. The exchange rate is a bit harsh and VAT is then added on to make it even steeper. |

I don't agree that the Club have found a site or that the design will be the key issue. Old Oak Common is a horribly complicated proposition which is why no one has tackled it already. Extracting the land from Railtrack at anything like a sensible price andthen getting planning permission will make the issues confronted when getting the new training ground seem like a doddle. Any scheme will need to be led by a developer and must await HS2. Odds on the club spending a fortune on 'preliminary studies' and then realising that the realisation of a scheme here is at least a decade away. |

Unless they are taking a a very long view (10 years+) they are wasting time looking at Old Oak Common. From direct experience, Network Rail are a nightmare to deal with especially when operational land is concerned and in this case progress will be in hoc to the implementation of the High Speed Rail proposals. The sheer scale of the scheme will make it contentious. Maybe Phil Beard reckons, based on his experience with the Olympics, that this scale of scheme can be delivered within a timescale. It can, with a deep pot of public money and an externally imposed deadline such as the Games. Without those...... |

Certainly not free scoring at present. Helguson will hit a dry spell at some stage and Mackie probably hasn't got the technique to repeat last season's feats. I didn't like the signing of Barton and would rather see Akos in that role. But you are perhaps focusing too much on Warnock's faults with an argument based mainly on speculation about his relationship with the players. Maybe you are right but, relegation or not, Warnock has many strengths and done more than enough to deserve to see out the season. |

I've got £75 worth in two lots, £50 & £25. There is nothing I want from the club shop that costs anything like that so as far as I am concerned it is a hollow & meaningless gesture. I would only give them to QPR in the Community if I was sure that donations wouldn't eventually be reflected in a cut in the funding that the receive directly from the club. Any offers? £20 the lot? |
