Sammy Koejoe was f'kin gash for us; I remember Crouchie putting clever flicks on and Koejoe nowhere to be found/seen/getting near the ball. Though to be fair it wasn't always him not running into space.
Cape Town is amazing, I've been twice. Good shout out for Stellenbosch, a tour there in one of the Dutch ones introduced me to Pinotage. Just driving around to Chapmans Peak etc is fantastic viewing.
Jo'burg was a shithole when I spent two weeks there but might have improved since but you can go to an old mine and the 'Cradle of Mankind' while in the area.
Port Edward and the Kruger Park are beautiful if you have the time.
I tore my inner one about 16 years ago, they gave me a leg bandage that was so itchy I stopped wearing it. I carried on walking about as it was only agony if I turned the knee and then ran a 10k for Charity two weeks later. It healed fine just a bit tighter.
Maybe you can get out of the surgery. The knee clicking going down stairs was a bit weird though.
I didn't bother, I was front row at the Ally Pally in 2012 with the Melvins and Sleep. I don't think it will compare. I did buy Arch Enemy tickets though, I've not seen them with Alisa.
My dad was a postie but a driver and I did some temp sorting and a few walks back in 1997.
A few people tried to give me money as it was Christmas I told them to give it to the real postie. The other temp wanted to ditch the mail and go back (we had one of those red handcart thingys) I told him 'No we're f'kin not' did all of it bar a few we couldn't find. Had it just been this lazy feck they wouldn't have got the mail.
