The manner in MoPo arrived it doesn't surprise in the way he left. He was a Cortese man. Lets hope we an Arsen Wenger type of manager, I can't take all this excitement. Good though. |
| News Comment | Jack Cork ! What Is The Problem ? at 20:59:06
I have consistently said that Wanyama was surplus to requirements and recent events have borne this out. Wanyama does not bring to the game the strengths that Cork brings. Wanyama has a good tackling record as does Cork. But Cork is a more productive player. |

I know SRL is a star, but Nick is only being logical. The trouble is SRL is defying logic. and continueing to be a top performer. Fans doubted his ability to make it in the Championship he defied that one. Then there were the doubters who thought he would fail in the Premiership again he defied that one and to cap it all he has been successfully Capped for England. All this when everybody thought he was past his prime. Logic dictates that he must, sooner or later, show sign that age is catching up and although he shows no sign that age is catching up on him. JRod and Osvelda coming into the club makes good sense. |

We all like to consider our own opinions paramount but the fact is there's only one that counts. We can speculate all we like but it will make no difference to what actually happens. Be patient the powers that be are in sole charge and though opportunities will be missed, mistakes made, the end result will be favourable Their record, so far, has been pretty good, Cortese in the short time he has been Chairman, in rebuilding infrastructure, team rebuilding and management. |

As with Ramierez I have to question Wamyama's commitment. Southampton are a club with ambitions and require playing staff who are equally ambitious, which means commitment. MP's seems to be equally tarred with the same tar brush of overriding confidence of being able to change these players, if they are mercenary minded. I've said it before and I'll say it again. | News Comment | Player Review 12/13 - Billy Sharp at 21:58:33
Politics in football is inevitable hateful as it is. I still cling to the silly notion of a players natural ability being paramount. |
| News Comment | Saints At Swansea The Verdict at 23:21:49
I think many fans these days have succumbed to the common fault of selecting players on reputation rather than on form. Our manager seems to rely on form rather than reputation. Fox in particular has done nothing that others haven't. So Shaw has to wait his turn. |

I said it at the time and I'll say it now. Cortese was wrong and mistaken, when he dismissed Adkins and half hope he will make Cortese rue the day. Hope its a draw. |

I agree with what has been said and like others on here am puzzled as to why suddenly we can't convert all the chances we create |
| News Comment | Who Should Make Way For Yoshida at 13:55:25
All three of the CBs are short on Preier experience and I think we'll see Yoshido on the bench at least. |
