Sulemana and Bree - what a combo 3-2. Thank goodness. Does that make Bree our third highest scorer in all comp's? |

Sugawara saves on the line. Two rotten teams struggling to put it in the net. |

It would be nice if someone could shoot straight, more than once. Lot of Stoke time wasting - barely had any football last ten minutes - 80 minutes come to that. |

| Forum Reply | How many points will we get this season? at 15:30 29 Oct 2024
Anything more than 2 points in the next 7 games and we'll have done better than expected. It's the little things in life that one has to look forward to and appreciate, that matter. To be honest, I'm beginning to get the perverse wish that we don't get any more points and end up with an almost unbeatable record. Beating 11 points will be seen as a victory for me (and doubt a few others). So, again perversely, there is stuff to look forward to. And so hopefully Russ will see us through to the end of the season. Start seeing it perversely as fking hilarious. Beyond that I'll be booking a place in the insane asylum. |

All the top football people agree RM is the bees knees. Fingers crossed. I'll drive him there - and I don't even drive a car. At least it's given us a chink of hope. [Post edited 28 Oct 12:40]

By listening to some of the 'expert' pundits and 'the best manager in the world' you'd think that that Saints were the best team in the Premier League - but only have one point? Remarkable, we should all be happy about that apparently. The levels of delusion are incredible - some people just want to dismiss what's in front of their eyes, stick their heads firmly in the ground, rage against the injustice of it whilst they're fed with a drip of lies, propaganda from the Media and self-proclaimed experts. We now have a society inculcated with mass delusion, let alone 'Saints fans' - although a lot of them of course are controlled automatons and trolls. That makes for rich pickings for those privileged few riding the eternal gravy train (to mix a couple of metaphors). [Post edited 27 Oct 15:03]

| Forum Thread | VAR and the 'authorities' favour money bags Man City yet again - Clear Bias? at 17:42 20 Oct 2024
By watching countless replays of the incident (although it was fairly obvious because the linesman raised his flag for offside), Silva clearly obstructed Sa and hence it was either offside or a foul. It seemed fairly obvious to anyone with clear vision and a clear head but not apparently by pathetic officials who only see pound/dollar signs in front of their eyes. How many times have teams had goals wiped out for similar actions? I'd like to know. I know Saints have countless times and usually against the Big Boys. If you think about the inverse: whenever have Saints had a goal given, then reviewed and then confirmed and given - I'd say probably never - I can't remember one. Just another example of how incredibly unfair and biased football has become and how increasingly obvious it is. They might as well hand City the title now. [Post edited 20 Oct 17:57]

OK with a quality squad for the Championship despite nearly messing up but blindingly obvious to a blind bat that he's not Premiership Quality. I blame SR for picking him in the first place; his record was bang average then. |

4-1-3-2 with Manning in front of the back four! Unless that's 4-1-4-1. I'm assuming Aribo's injured as he's not even on the bench. Really don't think Taylor deserved to lose his place. Dibling and Stewart up front is worth a try. |
