The previous owners mantra was to get younger inexperienced managers because they were tight as a submarines hatch, perhaps the news owners will think like you and splash out like you say and get what to me is the most important component of a football team. |

I always support our new managers, give them support, even when it's going bad, unlike certain posters who just turn on managers when it's clear we aren't going to challenge the top 6 positions, they know that most managers have a short shelf life, depending on teams fortunes, they know that they will eventually be proved that they made the correct choice by going against the manager at some point when he gets the sack.
I have stuck with all our managers for a while, giving them support no matter how bad it gets, I have stuck up for williams because he has done well with a weak squad, getting us up to 9th position, what has turned me was ultimately today's shambolic performance, fuelled imo by the comments he made about WBAs interest in him, comments at the time I took as off the cuff, I now know that he is being sly, looking after his own interests, I honestly believe that those comments have undermined the trust the players had in him and that's why today's performance was disgraceful.
I'm hoping the new owners don't take an prisoners and sack him sooner rather than later. |

I was 50/50 before today's game but now after seeing how it all unfolded I am totally against him, he is selfish, his comments have come to bite him on the @rse.
I've seen a tweet where he says that WBA probably won't want him after today's performance and he hasn't had any contact, I've been told that he has.
He needs to go asap but I suspect he will hang on to get paid compo when he gets sacked as his master plan has failed. |

I'm quite surprised at you mate, today's performance was all down to his comments, the players don't want to play for him, get rid asap, get sheehan to rally them for the scum game whilst looking for another manager, if we can't then keep sheehsn until the end of the season as he will instil pride and fire, he's done it before and he can do it again. |

I haven't today fella, he has lost what support he had in one 45 min half.
I did comment today it on the williams topic.
That was gutless, it smacked of a team who didnt want to play for him, his comments and today's performance will, i hope cost him his job. |

I think after Sundays comments and today's gutless performance he's gone.
Today's performance isn't down to the players, his comments have affected them, coupled with the selection of fulton and naughton.
Even though as 'professionals' they shouldn't be this bad, I think it's all down to Williams. |

After this first half performance I think his comments have affected the team, that along with his totally disrespect for portsmouth by playing naughton and fulton who embarrassing.
If we don't see a remarkable change in the second half by effort and tactical substitutions then he can go for me. |
