'... He seems a little mad.'

That is precisely the quality that sets apart a 'decent Rs player' from an 'Rs cult hero'. All the players we end up loving (rather than just liking) are a bit mad.

Aren't we due another nutter about now? Not saying it's Varane but we're definitely short of a certifiable weirdo to embody the insanity of following this club.

We are NOT the Shithouses
at 17:28 21 Dec 2024

Today, we were shithouse adjacent. We could see the shithouse and, lo, it was fcuking rank. Hope we fumigate HQ before the next match - they stunk out the joint like Scooby Doo's xmas dump.

The sniper was aiming for the Preston player but got distracted by the screams of someone eating a Pukka balti pie, as the filling landed in his lap.

They've dialled up the Shithousing to Stage 2 (Amber - shirt pulling and whinging).

Oh, and Fox is on. It just gets worse.

Got a good feeling about this one. We've become tricky to score against at a time when we usually go pants-on-head crackers. We might see Frey and Chair at some stage, Paal might get the nod over Ashby on the left and Kolli is unlikely to still have the plague - I guess I'm saying that this week's options might be a bit more positive than last week.

Or we might go full dumbass and play 2-0-8 with rush goalies and Fox as striker.

The farthest object ever seen from Earth is HD1, which is estimated to be 13.3 billion light-years away. I would suggest that this is the minimum acceptable distance to which they should fcuk off.

Pub Landlord being sued by Terrorist
at 13:31 20 Dec 2024

I am suing M&S because their display of handkerchiefs reminded me of hundreds of neatly folded dead baby ghosts. The trauma has led me to drink heavily and eat curry, simply so I can feel something other than terror. I am asking for compensation to the tune of two crates of Paulaner and a lamb vindaloo.

'Utter Kunt In Kuntish Behaviour Shock!'

Edit: just had a thought - can you change the name to 'The Terrorist's Beard'? And then have a picture of an extremely overgrown lady-garden?

That's why I only give thoughtful and prescient commentary on the important matters of the day.

Actually, I'm worried he's going to break my record for most downvotes in a single post.

Ashby
at 09:00 15 Dec 2024

I've said a couple of times that I am gobsmacked at a recruitment policy that brings in 2 fullbacks in support of a centreback playing out of position, whilst simultaneously failing to sign anyone to play on the opposite side - even as cover!

Marti wants to play with a back four: in my opinion, that requires 2 x starting fullbacks plus cover. To end up with such an imbalance is pretty poor. Paal suffers from not being Willo but he is at least a Bidwell-type of steady performer. Right now, that's a good thing, especially compared to the alternative. Ashby has his moments but I can't blame him for being here or for playing: those aren't his call really. He can own his mistakes but I see a player giving the lot and learning on the job.

That game was ugly as sin. But we came away from a 3 game week unbeaten with 7 from a possible 9 points. Frankly, the game could be as ugly as a Mordor porno: I'll take it.

The points, I mean.
