Hardly anyone is interested in the rugby, so that's not the reason. More likely the rubbish that people have watched under LW has put people off. It takes time for people to return, they need to see change and as Sheehan said, commitment first from the board. |

Yes, it was a lot of time and money for Nigel and the Meakins family. We used to travel all over to watch Carmarthen, from Newport to Swindon, to Buxton on a Sunday - lovely times. Sadly Nigel died a few years ago. Used to go to Somerset then and now they've disbanded!! |

I used to go to Carmarthen Speedway in the early 2000's - they stopped for the same reason. |

Nonsensical comparison. You only know the extent that horses are looked during and after their racing careers if you are involved. Of course, there are those in life that mis-treat any animal beit horses or dogs and they should be nowhere near both the animals or the sport in my opinion, |

With regards to horse racing, that's an old worn out tune that keeps getting played - these horses are looked after / cared for so well - they have the best of everything generally and in my experience, the aftercare once retired is superb. Most injuries take place running around a field rather than on a track, though of course, I agree, it's heartbreaking when a horse breaks down. Also, let me tell you, if a horse didn't want to run and jump, they wouldn't!! |

Excellent article guys perfectly summing up the incompetence. As you rightly say, let's sack LW and use the money saved with this - at least it will be money well spent. Get in the people who know how to run a football club (not just a business) and with any new investment, we may just have a chance of turning this round going into the summer. Melker the one bright spark to look forward to - he hasn't got a relegation release clause in his contract guys, has he? |

Of course, but better that we spend less on permanents now then start all over again when LW leaves. Of course, ideally, LW would have gone by now and a new manager would be in place but it seems that finances don't allow. |

Taken from the AAB forum re Melker Widell: Not sure if Swansea is the last club to bid for Widell before closing. Pure speculation or have you heard something? There are a few more concrete ones out for him, but they have to offer more than Swansea. I think that more clubs have woken up after Swansea came on the scene. It has to be now if you want Widell for less than 40 million. |

Not escaping blame from me. I agree with you. I'd imagine that the board were willing to sanction transfers but after WBA and the poor performances in January, they are probably keeping their money safe until a new manager / pre-season. |
 | Forum Reply | Swansea City : Sorry Luke, but this simply isn’t working at 16:58 18 Jan 2025
My thoughts exactly. Don't allow Williams any money to buy new players when he clearly isn't the right man for the job. Keep the money for the new manager either now or at the end of the season. |

My thoughts are will Sirius need to sell Milleskog now, mow they have £3 million in the bank? |
 | Forum Reply | January Transfer Thread at 13:33 17 Jan 2025
Interesting to read that Cardiff have paid £3 million for a striker from the Swedish side that Noel Milleskog pays for. |

I would say that Fulton is a good squad player - someone who at this level should be on the bench with the experience to come on and make a contribution. |

16 days in and still no nearer to any signings despite being told the contrary previously by LW. P&S rules must be more concerning at the moment if it is restricting our signings. Either that or the way the club handles transfer dealings seriously needs questioning. |

Contract expires in June. I hope he is a winger not a CF with his stats. |
 | Forum Reply | To clarify to date at 12:25 4 Jan 2025
Keep him for the January window to ensure continuity / harmony to bring in the players we want / need and then get rid. If certain board members aren't happy with LW and some of the players are struggling too, then it will only take a short run of bad results for LW to be moved on, IMO. |
