But the Bosman Ruling refers to freedom of movement within the EU. It's not a UEFA ruling. I'm confused about it myself and would be interested in what the lawyers have to say over the coming months. particularly about the possible reinstatement of compulsory transfer fees. |

SaintBrock please don't speak for me. I always have the time to read Nick's articles. Questions about superfluousness and brevity are down to personal opinion and I have never given anybody proxy to speak for me. Personally, I appreciate the unstinting work and effort Nick has contributed over many years and his style's fine by me. He's certainly more lucid than the awful text service offered by the BBC and I'm paying for that! |

Well put Nick. Its disappointing to see him go but despite the past few weeks he's always given 100% effort when he's worn the shirt. Let's face it, if he hadn't we wouldn't be disappointed to see him go. Who knows as well, he may come to regret the decision when a Suarez-less Liverpool go into decline and a resurgent Saints sit above them in the Premier League! |

| News Comment | Bangers Bankers - Like Saints Coming Good As The Season Ends at 14:57:34
Surely Peterborough at Barnsley is a good away win bet? Barnsley are woeful at the moment. Sorry to say but I think Portsmouth will get at least a draw but probably a win at Coventry and Brighton will win at Forest (typical championship result - score seven goals and win away then lose at home!). Blackpool to get something at Reading (please!) |
| News Comment | Why No Sharp ? at 18:12:17
It is an interesting question - Sharpie doesn't look quite as trim as he did at Doncaster so have been wondering if his fitness is in question. Let's not forget as well he's had a lot of emotional upheaval recently and maybe he's still coming to terms with that. Moving away from Donnie must have been difficult and maybe he and his family need time to settle. Whatever the situation I'm sure Nigel Adkins knows what's best. In respect about the comment about De Ridder I totally agree with eusebio - It was a bold, positive move and it worked well. |
