Traffic update 18:09 - Dec 2 with 834 views | colinallcars | Further to the post re residents-only driving in Rivercourt Rd - hasn't started yet and unhelpfully, Hammersmith council haven't given a start date. In the first three weeks of the operation, warnings will be sent and thenceforth fines will be issued.
Traffic update on 19:37 - Dec 2 with 662 views | QPR_Hibs | I wondered about this as I walked down to Rivercourt Road before the Stokegame to have a look. There was no signage about any restrictions and a constant stream of cars turning into the road. There are also parking meters down there for Joe Public, which I guess will become defunct once the LTN starts.
| "Remember to listen to me but look at her. Don't get it the wrong way round. That would be hideous." |

Traffic update on 20:30 - Dec 2 with 590 views | colinallcars | When it eventually comes to pass, it'll be two way instead of one way as is. I've noticed that the residents only streets are exclusively high council tax band streets. The 'erberts in the more down-at-heel streets have convoys. Don't think you'll hear the mellifluous strains of “keep the red flag flyin' 'ere” coming from the town hall.
