I'm eternally thankful for what they did back in the day, but in the current format they are pointless IMO. Is it time for a fresh start with the new owners and agree a way to be of use to the club and supporters. Possibly every season ticket holder automatically becomes a member again, as long as they don't bombard us with raffle tickets.

If the 5% protected shares is a real thing and not a PR job they could still make themselves a relevant unit. This depends on them being concerned with money and able to invest in something like property that increases in value.

If Coleman gets the club to the Premier league the value of the club is £200m or so. 5% of that is £10m a chunky sum. £20m of they are not diluted. If the members were focussed on growth rather than irrelevant things they could be a wealthy organisation. If needs a new purpose with a focus on growth. They have stagnated economically.

They want to be respected more than they want to be rich.

Agree regarding the ST holders, the trust is there for all fans, not just those who pay.

That said they'll never again have my support they acted as a law unto themselves with ignoring the result of the vote, they had no right whatsoever to do that.

Anyway the are an irrelevance to me now at least and time moves on!

You have to be optimistic. Luton got there. If there is no optimism why bother. No optimism id the Ospreys and the Cardiff rugby club who have both downsized for comfort not growth. The Swansea .com is way too big for the timid Ospreys. I was one of 20,000 watching them v Wasps a few years back.

I am liking what I see of Coleman. He was frustrated by Levien and co and did not whinge. He just bought them out. Wow.

You only have two options GROWTH or STAGNATION. Give £5 to the Trust and they will turn it into £3 in ten years. ( Real term) What is the point of that?

Bad football decisions have been holding Swansea back Some great players were brought to the club over their tenure but did not play well enough. Cooper was given a who s who of footballers. Guehi Brewster Gallagher Gyorkeres Gibbs White Manning Grimes Downes Wood Darling Woodman.

100% bad football decisions have been holding us back and that's from the very top. Colemans comments about the current owners should tell you enough about working with hands tied. Give up defending the undefendable, they are history, albeit a bad period in our history. What are you going to do when they are gone, follow DC Utd.

You have forgotten the real bad old days clearly. Levien and Kaplan backed Huw and he messed up. It was his fault not theirs. He was backed after they negotiated a staggering £57m for Sigi and Ashley.

Two play offs. There were budget controls. Managers left because of a tight budget. Potter and Cooper wasted almost close on a £1billon at their new clubs and both got sacked. Fans then say it was not their fault for wasting a kings ransom of a budget.

Cooper declined to fulfill ahis contract with a tight budget. He sulked at not getting Keinan Davis after ignoring Gyorkeres and Whittaker. The grass is always greener.. Like Potter who signed Asoro for £2m having not realized he already had Dan James who was a lot better.

I've not forgotten we were a Premier League club when they came and after terrible decisions like Bradley they leave us a mid table championship team with no forward planning and a chairman totally disillusioned with them.

Excuse me.
Daniel James to Leeds in January 2019..... Have you watched All Or Nothing? We should be grateful to Huw Jenkins. His final act.
Swansea did not come out of that saga at well but least Huw turned his phone off around 11pm on deadline day.

So now you are throwing Huw Jenkins under the bus someone you have held up as the epitome of chairmen.

You are always incorrect with your data.....I wonder given as you are from the Neath Valley are you really a Bluebords fan given as how you quote lies

The vote not to take action was rigged. Every person I know voted to take action.
Yet they came out saying fans voted against it.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Huw was the greatest chairman in history of Swansea and it is not even close. I have a great respect for the man and told him directly. I am not partisan and have to defend a narrative. He had one bad season out of 15 and had failing recruitment in Mr Ledbetter.
Almost everyone was dubious about Bony re-signing. Bony has been successful at medicals and not much else since he left Man City. Player returned because recruitment did not have a wide footprint.

Sacking Guidolin was a huge mistake. Bradley was not as bad as some suggest. It is a perception.

Fans either love or hate. I do neither. I try to be logical which is not a typical football fan trait.

I try to be honest but can get things wrong. I am generally polite and do not call people liars lightly. Your final line is a typical over emotional slur. You cannot help yourself I suspect.

I point out to you again an institution that cannot grow and invest is stagnant and not worth bothering with. I want to see the Trust chairman at the next the and forum to face up like Coleman and Watson did and explain a growth strategy and why fans should give them £5 a year . I doubt the invisible men and women will show up.

Bradley was as bad. What other top European league club did he go on to manage. Of all the top leagues in Europe we were the only club ever to give him a job, it speaks volumes.

He had Llorente and Sigurrdson. Llorente I recall had come back from injury. Clement was no great shakes as suggested by his CV but still did well winning at Anfield.
