You going to be avoiding at all costs or embracing a night of euro bonkers TV. My girls love it, probably down to me getting the sweepstake and scorecards going from a young age šŸ˜

The scoring has gone to another level and far to confusing, not to mention political.

Anyone else tuning in on Saturday night, I seem to remember we get a small bit of interest on here.

Iā€™ve gone for Italy ahead of Spain and France but expect Switzerland to win ahead of Croatia who will win the public vote but not the juries. Greek girl was great, song not so good.

I've got Italy in the family sweepstake.

My top 3 would be 1. Israel 2. France 3. Italy

I didnā€™t like France, I found it boring. Although he had a good voice. Iā€™m starting to pull for Croatia.

Israel was good, think it will do very well with the public but badly with the juriesā€¦..

Nailed it: wish Iā€™d had a bet.
Israel won the UK public vote.

Watched bits of it while the ads were playing in between Casino Royal on ITV .
Itā€™s more a contest to see who can have the most ridiculous outfit/ stage show rather than a song contest nowadays. Each to their own I suppose . I should imagine a 59
year old Irish plasterer isnā€™t the audience the audience theyā€™re aiming for .

Wax your chest, put on a mankini and sing a traditional Irish hard-core gabba techno song about missing your best mate's dog's birthday. I reckon you'd make the top 10 at least.

I thought the winning entry sometimes sagged beneath the weight of its own invention but any lack of subtlety was compensated by characterisation.

It was a bloke in a skirt singing on a roundabout.
Bowie was the gender bender for the seventies generation but he had the wonderful music to back it up.
As I say itā€™s about the visuals really and not the music. Or am I missing the point.
If it makes people happy fair play.
My parents looked on in bemusement at Glam rock .
Iā€™m doing the same now.

Said on the news ā€œ first non binary winnerā€. No it was won by a bloke. If I was to say Iā€™m a sex god with the body to match does that mean everyone has to accept that?

Like watching the Fall of Rome.

Ireland's 'song' might as well have been a full satanic mass.

Is this supposed to be family entertainment?
