I really don’t get why jones doesn’t give Ballard or Morgan a chance. Both of them can’t stop scoring. Hopefully one of them will get a run out today.

It looks like Morgan is being written off as a Saints player or he'd have been on the bench today but I don't understand why Ballard wasn't at least given a chance to come on.
On today's evidence, Perraud looks like he'd be our best striker if played up front. He's got a more powerful shot than any of our other players. We used to play Bale at left back. It was only when he went to Spurs that he became a world class striker. I'm not saying Perraud would be world class but he would score more goals than our current No.9. We are going for an inexperienced 20 year old from Rennes, who has scored one goal in loads of appearances and doesn't always start. The computer says he has great potential and will magically turn to excellence. We won't be getting Adebeyo or Giroud, they don't have a computer data driven sell on value.
The owners force the manager to buy young players with a sell on value, that some data driven computer has found. They may allow a cheap signing (I.e the Luton RB) but that about it. It was the case under Ralph and it's even more so now. These players arn't the manager's choice. This is all on the owners. The Southampton way they used to call it. | |
