I've always quite liked Southampton. They were probably a club our size in Division 1 and early Premier League days and they rather imploded as we did having pulled off one too many relegation survivals. They did that weird thing when the arse fell out of their ideas and astute business plan, and after that weird Steve Wigley spell, they hired Harry Redknapp who was one one of his half arsed re-bounds... and that was that.

That will be difficult for Luton fans to not give him grief seeing he walked out on them previously to join Stoke. That failed and sometimes a manager is a right fit at a club and Luton he excels at. If any manager walks out twice on a club for a perceived better job then you can understand any hostile reaction from the terraces. |  | | |

Nowhere near it. Warnock was certainly marmite for a lot of people but he had humour too and could be self-deprecating. I liked Warnock before he came here, I liked him when he was here and enjoyed listening to him since. And having spent a bit of time in his company he came across as a top class person. Jones on the other hand. Happily run him over and then reverse for good measure. Danny Paddock’s’ description summed it up for me. Just waiting for the Danny Paddocks ‘treatment’ of him now. 😂 | |
