Chair cross headed clear.
Back in, and Dykes misses a sitter, sorry to say.
From the BBC live text!
“ When you get chance seek out Lyndon Dykes' miss in the second half for the home side. An absolute shocker but fortunately for him and QPR not an important one.”

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

They're not wrong. I feel for the lad because despite the great team performance and excellent result that miss is impossible to ignore. Even I would've scored it.

What a great result and so satisfying after a super win on Saturday. Nice one, Rangers
I am on holiday, visiting the in-laws, and could only follow the game on here, so thanks Brian et al for the commentary and insights
COYRS
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Such a shame Dykes didn't score that goal. Otherwise, great night.
I hope we've got something left in the tank, coming down from the backwoods to The Liberty on Saturday to see the game with my younger boy.
Great result and nearly got the perfect night there but not to be Some outstanding football for me Laird should have beeb MOTM but have to give it to Chair. That 3 in midfield was superb and the back 4 is looking so solid even though we can't seem to buy a clean sheet Sorry but the elephant in the room is Dykes... this really can't go on. OK he works hard and he tries hard but he is not a striker and that miss was ..... well unbelievable It never cost us tonight but what if we were only the one up...... I'm beginning to buy into MB and what he is trying to do but not sure if he is playing Dykes in the hope he will come good Hate digging out our players but I would rather have a raw youngster playing at the moment But that is for another day in in all a great result

Looked off to me on the replay although wasn't slowed down so hard to tell. But no pressure on ball + high line you always run that risk.
He was on. I think it was Dickie who was momentarily behind the defensive line. He tried to step up but was marginally too late. Despite the win I'm still unsure whether I'm comfortable with the high line.

30 minutes of brute force followed by an hour of thumb war dominance. Definitely something cooking in the kitchen, as Dana might have opined regarding it all.

brilliant tonight, Johansen, Dozzel, Laid and Chair all outstanding
Since Beale made that 'not over the moon' comment the midfield seems to have turned it up a couple of notches. Wouldn't be surprised if they had a talk. Whatever works.

He appears to have abandoned the experiment of playing JoJo at DM and pushing Field further forward. This coupled with Dozzell's improvement, the acquisition of decent full-backs and the return of Willock has improved the midfield no end.
