Wave them off, it would be a great opportunity to restructure the leagues. A competitive 20 team Premier League and three 22 team football league divisions. If the 'Big 6' ever come crawling back, put them at the bottom of the pyramid.
‘Bundesliga sides are opposed to the plans because the German model means commercial investors cannot have more than a 49% stake in clubs, so fans hold a majority of their own voting rights’
Big chance for a massive revamp of UK football governance and ownership. However, I’m not going to hold my breath and I expect without the prospect of big Premiership money for the vast majority of the 92 clubs I expect most including our own may get asset stripped as investors undergo the Last Chopper out of Saigon mentality.

Yep good riddance... it will mean the end of football as we know it but as long as QPR are still playing I won’t give a monkeys ðŸµ

I really hope they do, chance for the rest to do a reset, back to 4 divisions, 2 of 22 and 2 of 24 teams playing in the same competition. TV money distributed fairly, won’t happen but wouldn’t it be great.
favourite cheese mature Cheddar. FFS there is no such thing as the EPL
Are traditional fans sustainable? E-sports, gaming, digital interaction, celebrity entertainment over sport... there's a reason this is seen as football's Napster moment. US private equity will pour billions into getting another NFL/NBA off the ground, and the rest will be hyperlocal college sport.
Ward this off and there's still the FIFA Club World Cup reforms on the horizon that Infantino is getting his ducks in a row for as a rival grab for UEFA/CONMEBOL money.

Without the likes of Bayern it looks pretty pathetic. Three of the English teams are Europa League giants. I hate what football has become as much as the next old git but this is a new nadir. Clubs like Ajax who won the European Cup three years in a row aren't in this 'super' league and Spurs are.
