Tough read for the Boris fans here. Apologies it’s rather long so try your best

It was a tongue in cheek comment but seems to have gone over your head.

So here is another reason you apologists need a daily dose of reality -

“Inquests into Coronavirus deaths among NHS workers should avoid examining systemic failures in provision of PPE coroners have been told”.

All the way through this so far the government have been covering their ar5es. It may not bother you, but it bothers people who expect to be treated like adults.

The population density point has been dealt with.

We are 4th in the worldwide worst list. It's not great. It's worth considering why.

It really isn't difficult.

You and your mates are the only hysterics on the subject. Others are capable of having a measured and balanced discussion about stuff.

Listen pal, you posted a graph comparing us with Monaco and San Marino so not really sure you have any credibility left on this subject.

SOGGY and "Ian" TENS OF THOUSANDS ARE DYING WE ARE THE WORST IN EUROPE AND IT'S ALL THE TORIES FAULT

Reality - Uks death per million is lower than simiar sized countries

Soggy and "Ian" THE LACK OF PPE IS A DISGRACE, HANCOCK SHOULD BE SACKED AND IT'S ALL THE TORIES FAULT

Reality - there is global shortage and even countries who have "successfully" dealt with it are protesting against the lack of PPE

Soggy and "Ian" - BORIS JOHNSON REACTED TOO SLOW, HE HAS GOT IT ALL WRONG, IT'S ALL THE TORIES FAULT

Reality - the same scientific advisors to the government who they indirectly criticise are lauded as being at the for front of dealing with climate change

Soggy and "Ian" - LOOK AT THESE GREAT ARTICLES SHOWING HOW IT'S ALL THE TORIES FAULT

When inconsistencies, imbalance and gapping holes in the article are pointed out "YOU HAVE GOT YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND STOP APOLOGISING FOR THE TORIES ITS ALL THEIR FAULT"

it would be funny if they didn't take themselves so seriously.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Inevitably mistakes have been made and much later this year detailed analysis will describe any policy weaknesses. Promoting politically biased comments from the left wing Guardian littered with vague references to ‘sources close to’ various groups is only marginally informative.
Do you really think this government purposely delayed lockdown for political reasons? This virus is unique. I remember a lot of earlier chit chat about whether to lock up would be against personal freedoms and cause huge impact on family finances. Various health experts gave opposite views. Currently my personal experiences show many joggers cyclists and teenage groups mostly don’t keep to distancing. Nor do politicians or footballers!
More to the point can’t see any reason to ease lockdown for many weeks. So cancel football season with existing points per game, give Liverpool (yuk) the title and maybe the new season could start on time with some new players please.

Another really stupid comment - you're on a roll today.

And I don't need lessons in credibility from someone who spends very time saying anything of substance and an awful lot of his time concocting spurious criticisms of others.

Is the Tory Party PR machine paying you for this sh!t?

Let's face it, you've got no real opinions of your own. All you do is misrepresent the views of others and then criticise them for it.

If you could actually engage intelligently about any of this stuff, you might not need to use the CAPS LOCK so much.

When reading statistics - one needs to take into consideration the high density of chavs & thick, ignorant people the UK has when compared to other European countries. I would imagine that the citizens of most Euro countries are adhering to the lock-down rules quite well and obeying the social distancing rules that have been implemented.

Alas, here in the UK, we have an abundance of thick morons who I see every time I have to go to the supermarket who really couldn't give a shít about keeping 2-metres apart & people living near me socialising with a beer in each other's gardens or holding BBQ's etc etc.

These people have the IQ of a flip-flop and (partly) explain why the death toll is still too high every day. Considering we've been in lock-down for over a month now - where are all these cases still coming from? It can only be the English mentality.

exactly this
and thats the issue with easing the lockdown, so many numpties will take easing as "yeah its all back to normal lets go party in the park"

You dont like responses which question your views, everytime you get one you lot just shout that you're a tory supporter. I think you'll find i've never once defended them, simply point out not everything is as black and white as the guardian tells you it is.

The graph disproved your half-baked population density theory.

The half-baked theory which was your main line of criticism against The Guardian piece.

The graph itself does not prove that the Tories are awful. I really don't know why you find all this stuff so difficult?

I actually agree with you for once. THe weekend before lockdown it was pretty obvious the government didn't want to force it but were relying on peoples intelligence not to do stuipd things. They made the mistake over over estimating that as fook wits round the country thought it was a bank holiday so they were forced to enforce it. it'll be the same if lockdown is lifted, pricks will meet up for parties etc and treat it like like will return to normal, not everyone but a lot will.

This government has been in control of events from the outset. They have been paying my wages for about 4 weeks and counting. About £600 p.w courtesy of the nasty Tories. They’ve got my vote again and as we move from the illness phase and into the economic rebalance phase they will have my full support in the necessary austerity measures that are taken.

Tbf a lot of the things the OB are power tripping on are ridiculous. A family that live cooped up in a high rise flat going to the park for a sit down in the sun is exactly what most of us who have gardens have been doing. Providing social distancing is maintained I don’t see anything wrong with it. On the contrary it seems like a sensible thing to do. Fresh air and vitamin D from the sun is good for building up your bodies ability to fight infection.

There is a global shortage of PPE, but you chose to ignore that, even in Germany who have done well they are protesting as reported in your favourite source of news, surprisingly your didnt share this one. Is that the fault of Matt Hancock too?

Nope, we all know about the global shortage of PPE as it has been well reported. The issue has been how we have managed within that situation. Keep up.
