Wilbraham our key to League 1 survival 11:42 - Dec 28 with 2569 viewsYouTubeDale

Wilbraham reminded us against Fleetwood how effective he can be in the opposition's box. He needs to be firmly planted in that position for the rest of the season and it will pay dividends. We are often looking for an outlet to start our attack and we generally pick out Wilbraham. But he needs a partner in crime to work with. When he heads the ball forward someone needs to be on the end of it. Done, I know he's injured, usually arrives late. We need someone arriving on time all the time. A good candidate is Baah. With his close ball control and powerful shot ,as witnessed against Fleetwood ,could prove a real handful for the opposition. Substitute Camps for Baah if needed. I would be telling both players to conserve energy not running for lost causes like Done, recognising that one is old and the other is young.
If you contrast Rochdale with Accrington ,for example, we are on the back foot, they play on an attacking front foot. We should get more players in the box and with this front pairing put ourselves on the front foot too.
We need a strong central defender in our box, stopping the close range goals against us as witnessed in our last two games, and to mix up our style of play or we will be down to League 2 next season. Tranmere, Wimbledon and even MK Dons are upping their games. And if, God forbid, Bolton overtake us, then in the words of Fraser from Dad's Army....we are doomed !!!!!!!!
