I never saw the original appeal. But In Cornwall on holiday this summer, I was walking through Par market with the family and saw this gentleman sat there with a Beret on, I read the sign and got my two children to put some money in. I remember thinking fair play, I hope he gets his money for the memorial. Then I see the news tonight, I was choked.
