Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Radio Wales is quite frankly abysmal.

No coverage of the game last Tuesday except (on DAB/FM within the Swansea and West Wales area) despite having DAB, FM, MW and BBC Wales online platform to potentially broadcast on.

We're not subject to PL broadcasting rights anymore so for us Swans fans outside of the Swansea area, listening in shouldn't be that difficult, but it is.

In fairness to them I'm pretty sure they can't broadcast the games online. You can listen to them online on swanstv.

Radio Wales went over to the Ospreys just as it went in ffs! Goalllll though!!!!!!

I was tampining when that happened and thought it was because my reception was changing transmitters, but that wasn’t the case. When the signal came back one of the commentators (I think it was Ian Walsh) apologised for turning the signal off, it seems that in his excitement after the goal went in he managed to turn the transmission off.

Not asking for tv broadcast online, just a radio commentary would be fine, even on MW would do.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. It's for broadcasting rights reasons they can't put it online. It's probably for the same reason they don't broadcast it on the wavelengths you can pick up outside of Wales. The audio steam available from the club is for that radio Wales broadcast. Hell, maybe its because the club are selling access to it that you can't get it online.

I really enjoyed the game. We should have buried them. It feels like a chance thrown away, butI loved some of the ambition, and Dan James.......he’s been turbocharged.

Right direction, again. We’ll play much worse and win.

Yeah f*cking wonderful, second worst team in the championship, they haven't won a game, and we managed to lose to them having 70% possession, and they still manage to score 3 f*cking times., not a breakaway or a fluke, but 3 f*cking times.

And you enjoyed the game ? and you reckon we'll play worst than that and win, just like Ipswich then.

Today sums up what we all know. Just a couple of players from p!ssin all over this league. Strange to say it when we've lost, but to those of us who saw it....it's so obvious.

We were beaten by the worse side in the league, and you think we are a few players short of winning it?

One player today - a competent striker - and we'd have been out of sight by half time.

Potter's decisions backfired today.

It's not about glass half empty or glass half full, it's much more about distinguishing between watching a game through rose tinted glasses, or saying it as you see it.

Obviously you seen it differently to what I posted, which part of my post did you disagree with ?

A lot of confidence about.

I think today was a bit of an eye opener, too much confidence in a team so young isn't going to fare well. We learn.

So, how does that explain us conceding 3 goals at home, would a striker have prevented those

Why wasn't Baker Richardson on the bench today then? He's not Pele but he's a presence up top and scored a week ago. I don't like not having a striker on the bench

If we'd been 2 up (or 5 if we'd take the decent chances) at half time it's unlikely Ipswich would have scored.
Even if they had scored 3 we should have had another 4 - we win.
An off day in the back but I'd put that down to
1) Potter tinkering and players not being on the same page.
2) nordfelt not commanding his space and talking to the defence
3) Carroll and Byers not tracking back
4) MVDH having an off day.
5) bizarre subs.

No, i don't expect us to do anything either. I've been so impressed with Potter that i started to believe.

Walking away from the game i have never been so annoyed and disappointed.

I don't play sport to lose and don't watch to lose, but sometimes it is what it is especially in the Prem.

But that today was quite simply unacceptable. We won't do anything this season when we can't win games like that and those players won't achieve anything as a group to lose a game like that...it just can't happen. Completely and utterly unacceptable.

He needs to get them in tomorrow and have a serious discussion.

That wasn't Leeds, Stoke etc etc that was against a team who haven't won, a goal down, away from home.

If as you suggest we just shrug our shoulders after that then as a club we really have fuc king lost it.

Players should never be affraid to play but they should be made rudely aware that Swansea City at home shouldn't ever lose games like that.

Completely understand why you’re disappointed, I am every single time we lose.

But I’m not annoyed over today, from what I’ve heard it was a good performance but we made mistakes and got done. I don’t think this will be the last time this happens this year. I keep saying the same thing but this season is for stopping the slump, this side will show full potential in a season or two seasons time.

One thing I will say, is conceding three at home is unacceptable though, I hope he has serious words with them over that, but for me, we shouldn’t get too upbeat when we win, and shouldn’t get too devastated when we lose either at this stage.

Christ. Nine times out of ten we win that game. We SHOULD, not could, have scored six or more. We played some fabulous stuff with a group of young players and a young manager learning all the time. The three headers were a weak and disappointing way to lose a game we ought to have walked.

And people are opening a vein. Maybe just maybe we won't win every game we 'should' eh? Our promotion team lost to every shit team in the league, and played a million times worse than we did today.

You'll remember me back from the summer when we took a trip over to your fine city. Keeping it short, you played my team today. Been a follower for around 25 years back when Craig Forrest was in goal. Registered not only for trip advisement but occasions such as today when thew two clubs would eventually meet.

Okay, I've read game reports from TWTD but missed highlights. Appears we were lucky to an extent to win today as you created more opportunity and possession but that was a game we really needed to win. I'm sorry it had to be at your own teams expense.

Some of the reaction from our fanbase seemed bizarre. I put it down to unrivaled relief at getting a first victory and winning / scoring three at a venue many thought we would be well beaten, you can hardly blame some for getting carried away but a number of fans of the club are providing plaudits left and right to the players and manager, it's almost as if the previous 11 games never occurred and one win - albeit however fortunate - brings a new dawn or sense of unrealistic belief and expectation. Paul Hurst is no savior on the back of one standout victory.

Anyway you're in a much better position to challenge than ourselves, what I mean is Swansea is a team that can realistically shoot for a promotion place in May whereas we ourselves are most likely mid-league material.

No hard feelings I hope, I accept we were perhaps fortunate in victory but by God that win needed to come from somewhere.

I don't think VDH had an off day, although he was he the defender beaten for one of the goals, but Rodon was also maybe at fault for one too.

"One thing I will say, is conceding three at home is unacceptable though, I hope he has serious words with them ".

No he needs to have serious words with himself.
He hasn't learnt that 3 light weight mid fielders does not work.
He hasn't learnt that using the currently best Goal Keeper is the best option and you shouldnt change for the sake of it.
He hasn't learnt that when a youngsters puts the ball in the back of the net as your striker you don't drop him for the next game.
He hasn't learnt that although playing Roberst as a winger (when we are over supplied with wingers) is exciting it weakens our defense.
He also hasn't learnt that when the attack can walk through your mid field and score not to take off your Best all round player in defense and put on an attacking mid.

For me Potter's "magic" is looking a bit tarnished, yes he has used the youngsters, not that he had much choice, but they are only playing as they did for the U23s, their style of playing is down to the Academy management not him.
The only young player down to him is Asoro, say no more.
