If we are not ahead of Wimbledon going into that last game we are in trouble!

Remaining games thread ***updated 17/4/18*** on 21:38 - Apr 14 with 3708 views | pnc4eva1 | I said a few weeks ago 50 points is the barrier. I now will retract my statement and place survival this season at 52 points. To me the teams in the equation are Dale, Oldham, Walsall., Oxford fighting for the last relegation place. Northampton, MK and Bury will take the other places. Our goal difference could be the telling factor if its a tie for 50 / 51 points. Got to admit I've been very 20p and 50p, especially today [Post edited 15 Apr 2018 11:49]

That's still 2 wins and a draw in 5 games so a win Tuesday would make 1 win 1 draw from 4 games look a little easier! Whatever Tuesday yesterday's win was huge and it's going to be close. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

So we can't make the play-offs anymore?

Donny is an interesting one Saturday. A Doncaster win v Oxford that would tee up a barnstorming game at Oxford for us ( if we can get something v Bradford and Plymouth ) Oxford then going to Blackburn last game of the season. WOW - loads to play for still. Up the Dale.
Remaining games thread ***updated 18/4/18*** on 21:46 - Apr 19 with 2811 views | pnc4eva1 | Let's not forget Walsall. They're on a stinking run. They've got a relatively hard run in and could be drawn into it. Wimbledon will probably be safe as they have a guaranteed 3 points in their own last game. Therefore it's between Oxford, Walsall, Oldham, Dale and Northampton for the last two relegation places

So a Wimbledon win over the Biffos today would be better for us - leaving them on 52 points with three to play (including Bury) and Oldham on 47? And a win for Plymouth at Northampton? That'd boost the confidence of Tuesday's visitors, though given their recent form it must already be high. But it's probably preferable for Northampton to win their last two matches against Walsall and Oldham. This dogfight has too many ifs and buts and twists and turns. Another I've not seen mentioned is the possibility of Matty Lund in the Bradford team this afternoon.

The best outcome today is for us to win and not worry about what happens elsewhere as we can't do anything about it.

dead right..as long as it remains in our hands we can ask for no more..if it slips out of our hands that's when we have a problem...
