Hill on the radio 17:51 - Nov 25 with 20874 views | 442Dale | What happened? Almost no mention whatsoever of the game and talking about chants he heard, doesn't like it when "our own supporters are singing disrespectful songs about us". Even Wagg made a point of saying that being sat right behind the dugout he was very unsure about what Hill was talking about. What were the chants? A massive shame that he isn't focusing on a great win after a clever change in tactics by the manager. | |

Hill on the radio on 19:30 - Nov 30 by SaxonDale | He said many positive things but for me it wasn't enough. The conversation between the two presenters immediately after Hilly went was along the lines of ' I can't believe that after bringing so much success Hill is still getting criticism from fans at Rochdale'. Hilly should have came out and admitted he got it wrong- that would have stopped any discussion after taking place and us fans being labelled completely wrongly by the media. As has been said before on this thread- mud certainly does stick. [Post edited 30 Nov 2017 19:32]

Really dont think it's all on the manager. We were told earlier in the season that there is a review after every game: https://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/2017/august/update-ratcliffe-bars-access/ As "all departments" are present to "to discuss any issues that have arisen at each individual fixture", this would indicate that what went on last Saturday would have been looked at. From there, presumably, a club stance was agreed to manage the media better to ensure the club's name and that of the supporters, aka #TeamRochdale, is not affected as it has been. When any such process is put in place following these reviews, there may be a period of time to bed-in what was agreed. You'd hope lessons were learnt on all sides. Edit: thanks to Harrydale for that report! [Post edited 30 Nov 2017 20:02]
