With Vale on better form (last 6 games) than us, as we dither, a win for them will see them well on the way to safety and a game in hand........might be outnumbered.

With Vale playing well and fighting I expect almost 1000 visitors. I reckon we'll be quietly surprised with the gate Tuesday it'll break 5000

3600 based on a good weather forecast and it not going dark so soon now we are in British Summer Time.
Also, get the Club photocopier working overtime between now and kick off and give every person through the turnstiles a season ticket application form and a flyer explaining what the deal is.

Why because some bury fans are coming over to see the match?

Port Vale are desperate for points, and at £1 per ticket they should bring a train load.

Passive marketing has plenty of merit but I prefer the aggressive alternative ........ dont let them out til they sign up!

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!

I bet we won't be.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

On Saturday a guy in the mainstand who is usually pretty reliable told me that the mainstanad was sold out for Tuesday. If correct, I think we may all be pleasantly surprized by the attendance .
Hopefully we win in some style and encourage some of the newbies to plump for a season ticket.

Having logged in to the tickets website I can see there is not much left in the two sections of the Main Stand nearest the Pearl Street and the rest are sold out. Quite a few left in the Sandy Lane and a reasonable number in the Pearl Street. Curiously I could have bought a ticket in the Willbutts as it was saying it was available to me but I did not take it as far as the checkout to see if they warned me it was for away fans.

5500
2500 dale,
1500 vale
Plus 1500 neutrals who'd rather go to a game than watch one on telly.

We'll see I should imagine some of those purchased before the cancellation that now can't go won't have bothered getting their £1 back.

I'll stick with my less than 3k guestimate.

Poll: What are we more excited for?

Well I can't be there as I carefully planned my Easter holiday around Dales fixtures. Before they rearranged this one
