If you're looking for something to watch with your boy then any one of J K Rowlings "Peculiar Beasts, Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children or the remake of The Jungle Book are great for all ages
Independent finnish film called rare exports. Somewhat a different story about the orgins of all the santas around the world and the real santa claus that is really something else than the old friendly fat geezer dressed in red. Quite good and different for sure.
