US Elections 2016 10:34 - Oct 5 with 66326 views | BrianMcCarthy | Great site here for tracking projections and polling for the Presidential, House and Senate elections over the next month. A wealth of info on each state in each race. http://www.electionprojection.com/latest-polls/house-polls.php Hopefully the warmongering Clinton wins it over the dangerously doolally Trump, and hopefully the Democrats can get the Senate back.

US Elections 2016 on 14:10 - Nov 8 by robith | Also on your point of the EU referendum vote - it reminded me of something that should really have alerted us to the polls being out of sync. Within the statistical margin of error, one of the final polls had 3% of UKIP voters voting remain! |
That one was, logically, always going to be close. I'm not sure how they decided that any UKIP voters would go remain though. Surely you throw those out of the sample as being wronguns? It's not like a Tory switching to Liberal or something. I think that Clinton will be a one term President, as surely the Republicans won't allow this to happen again? Either Clinton gets a sicknote or she gets beaten up next time by anyone vaguely sane on a Republican ticket.

Wiki Leaks has only leaked from Clinton's emails. It must have plenty of stuff on Trump, tax returns for example! This source is RT, otherwise known as Putin television, getting a fair hearing on there would be as likely as Corbyn being championed by Fox News!

“My analysis is that Trump would not be permitted to win. Why do I say that? Because he has had every establishment off his side. Trump does not have one establishment, maybe with the exception of the Evangelicals, if you can call them an establishment,” said Assange. “Banks, intelligence, arms companies, foreign money, etc. are all united behind Hillary Clinton. And the media as well. Media owners, and the journalists themselves.” He obviously can't get Fox News in the Embassy. If it isn't the Donald himself on there, it's Newt Gingrich or some other clown bellowing about media bias.

As a lefty I love watching Fox News! It's beyond parody, I particularly like the fact that one of its slogans is Fair and Balanced! Just jaw-dropping !
US Elections 2016 on 17:59 - Nov 8 with 2260 views | strikerace | At least Fox is the only right news. MSNBC is the left version of Fox, so republicans find MSNBC just as offensive. At least Fox and MSNBC acknowledge what they are. The worst is CNN who says its unbiased, but also swings heavily left. When push comes to shove most media in the US is in the Democrats (and actually liberal) pockets.

It depends on how you define 'left'. I would say America has a right wing party and a centre party. A candidate like Bernie Sanders would be on the very right wing of the labour party in the UK! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

So an aghast look on an MP'S face would be worth having a f*ckwit having his finger on the nuclear button? Really?

Thanks for that mate! Just saying that an election of this importance will affect the lives of millions of people all across the world. Far more important than me and you arguing over a few comments on a message board. Humourless? Tw@t? You would have to ask people who know me!

US Elections 2016 on 14:35 - Nov 8 by MarylandR | I know at least a dozen Trump supporters personally who do not talk on social media about the election for fear of losing friends. They will quietly cast their vote and move on. I know the sample is small, but I think this indicates that there are more "quiet" Trump supporters than people think...I don't think he'll win. I wish we could have a primary do-over... |
This is my concern. I think this is going to be way closer than projections, I know a couple of Republicans who voted today that said all along they weren't going to vote for trump, but once they were actually casting their vote, couldn't bring themselves to vote for Hillary.

That looks very positive. By way of another turnout story, the wife and I have been in Ruislip for the last couple of months. 5 days ago she called up the election office in Brooklyn asking where her postal ballot was. They gave a lot of the usual New York public official gibberish but yesterday her ballot showed up in an Extremely Urgent Priority envelope. Cost $59.50. Today another one showed up, exactly the same, cost another $59.50.

Would a Trump win have the same affect on the dollar that brexit had on the pound? I'm off to New York in April and tomorrow could be a good time to buy my currency.

That is pure guesswork though, no different to the brexit polls. No one has a clue what will happen really, the polls will always go with the safe option rather than the unlikely one
