A few positives from today 17:16 - Dec 28 with 2016 views | WindyMiller | Thought Eagles at the start of the second half was the player we need, Orlandi had arguably his best game in a Blackpool shirt and nice to see the kids come on (Clark making a point?) Charles Dunne though has to be one of the worst left backs at BFC - is Clark too proud to ask Joan Oriol for help? Stupid if that's the case.

I can see what the o/p is getting at - first half we lacked any shape, desire or discipline but the introduction of Orlandi added some class to the side - 1-1 was about right bearing in mind they had a dodgy penalty, we hit the post, had a good goal struck off and were the better side second half.

Er did we win? Draws no use at all given our position. Still if it makes some people happy. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Shed wouldn't see any positives if we'd just won the Champions League. Having said that, the best I can drag out of today's game is that the kids did well when they came on and we looked much better in the second half. But we were absolutely shocking in the first 45 - just awful. If it hadn't been for Lewis we would have been dead and buried after 20 minutes. Not good enough by a long chalk. And yes, I think Clark was sending out a message. [Post edited 28 Dec 2014 22:14]

No real positives. Three points was required. A few compensations, that's all. Orlandi, Murphy, Lewis and a couple kids did OK.

Agree with all that the o/p says apart from Eagles. Another mediocre game for him.
