Queens Park Rangers 3 v 0 Coventry City
EFL Championship
Friday, 2nd April 2021 Kick-off 15:00

Arguably our best performance of the season. I particularly liked the pace of our passing which was often first touch and precise.

This season we've usually been better after a break in regular proceedings which suggests Warburton's coach makes a genuine difference.

Very good performance. Players rested after the break and well drilled. Defence looked pressured under set pieces but survived intact. Concerned about De Wijs absence, we missed him on those corners and free kicks.

We now have to see if we have enough in the legs to keep that high energy, free flowing football going. Very pleasing today.

We were strong all over the pitch - no weak links. Chair was man of the match, although it would be good if he could find the net more reliably, but as he is our top scorer I probably shouldn't complain.

Field had his best game for us so far and covered acres of ground. He gets through a lot of vital defensive work, but in this game showed more in the final third.

Did anyone think Kakay was preferred because of Kane's crass comments? If so a good decision by Warbs.

A good performance aided by a Coventry store who didn't press & let us play. And well done Joe. No sign of a lack of match practice there!
