I think someone (Clive ?) suggested Bennie will be on international duty for most of February, so unlikely anyone will take him on loan if he’s not available until March (ish). EDB a good shout though. |

Not point, it will be electronically stamped, which it what the US immigration see, probably with a red flag ! |
| Forum Reply | Snooker, Golf or Darts at 00:15 21 Jan 2025
So the original thread question changed immediately into 3 singular achievements….. 147 toughest, Hole in one next, then 9 darter. But regards the threads op, both Darts and Snooker are played indoors, on the same sized table/board, dimensions/distance. Golf, however, is over Many different courses, with differing challenges, parkland, links, etc. Weather plays a major part, it’s outdoors, every course is different, with 18 different holes, 14 different clubs all doing different things, even the balls offer different outcomes. You’re not playing against just 1 opponent (unless on Ryder Cup singles day), you’re with others in a field of 120-160 (ish) ! I enjoy playing and watching all 3, there’s huge talent in all of them. Enjoy. |

Much of above is SO true. But my take - Auckland - Great city, Eden park is great for rugby bot not so good for cricket which is why we went. However, I preferred it from the outside looking in, so ferry to Davenport is worthwhile. Great views, as above regards the Sky Tower. Wellington - Brilliant, we were lucky as the Super/Cuba/Dupa event was on. Cuba St, lots to enjoy. Park is great to wander around, Basin Reserve a wonderful cricket ground, the Cake Tin less so, but good for Rugby & Football. Windy and Great Pies (even from a petrol station !) Christchurch - Very English, nice city centre, but Hagley Park/Oval is beautiful and the ‘seating’ memorial is emotional. Queenstown - Stunning, alot of young adrenaline junkies, but for us oldies the luge and scenery is amazing. Milford Sound is beautiful. We did Sydney too, excellent. As you might expect. Bridge & a show at the Opera House, Blue Mountains by train, SCG, Bus Tour. Personally, Bondi was a bit of a let down, a bit tacky IMO. But judge for yourself. Heading to Adelaide & Melbourne later this year for the cricket. Can’t wait. |

I think we were in their faces a lot, certainly a few incidents on the pitch. Dunne in particular was having a few run-ins, thus his 'inyerface' standing over their defender celebration for his goal. Porteous for them was getting mighty peeved. Ref was more kind to us than them I think. |
| Forum Reply | Last night’s ref at 13:42 12 Dec 2024
Towards the end of the game - their defender fell over despite minimal (if any) contact and grabbed the ball expecting a foul. No whistle from ref and we got the free kick. But he wasn’t booked for Deliberate Handball !?! Surely, that’s a bookable offence whichever division your experience comes from….? |

Probably sold because we needed money in and there were no better offers elsewhere. Same with Sincs.Financially we have little choice but to consider any offers. |
| Forum Thread | And as the window slams…… at 10:02 30 Aug 2024
Any last business for us ? Will we get the Liverpool or Man City LB on loan ? If the Newcastle RB comes in, Cannon out, or on loan ? Will we try to fill Dykes place ? Dixon-Bonner out on loan ? A couple of other fringe squad players ? Talla, Tuck ? And that and a game to play…… |
| Forum Reply | Dykes sold apparently at 22:55 28 Aug 2024
Unless you drop down a division….? Closer to Livingston level ? Actually probably not, that would be L2 or Conference but still relevant. |
| Forum Reply | Dykes sold apparently at 09:03 28 Aug 2024
I see he’s gone for the ‘Alien Ant Farm’ hair style. What a Smooth Criminal….. |
| Forum Reply | Dykes sold apparently at 00:32 28 Aug 2024
He was better value than Conor Washington at £2.5m though ! |
| Forum Thread | Max Johnstone ? at 15:55 27 Aug 2024
20, RB from Sturn Graz on loan - Sky Thought we’d need another LB ahead of RB, unless Reggie is history ? |

Be Here Now, too self indulgent and songs too long (one they reprised as the last track as if 9 minutes and 20 seconds wasn’t enough earlier !) IMO…..but, Even Noel said it was a cocaine fuelled pile of poop. |
| Forum Reply | Oasis Reunion 2025 at 16:15 26 Aug 2024
They did ! It’s called The Masterplan ! Or they could have just put the singles from their last 4 (or 5?) albums onto 1 album and that ‘might’ have been half decent too. |
| Forum Reply | 4 minutes. at 12:46 25 Aug 2024
I thought he was good 1st half. Some poor decisions 2nd half, some weird and what’s the point of booking the keeper 2 mins from the end after his 10th time timewasting…..! |
