This. I don't even get up off my seat when Smyth goes charging down the wing as you know that that cross is either going straight to the opposition or he'll fall over. Same thing every time. |

What good attributes? Plus the whistle had already gone, the goalie would have got that else. You miss from 5 yards out, away from home, in the first 10 minutes. Enough said. |

He can't finish. 6 yards out, first 10 minutes, cocks it up. Game changing miss. He simply isn't good enough and sooner he's back on the bench the better. With regards to his 'goal', it was disallowed. |

OK, here is my take. These players that some have already written off are very young and the majority from foreign leagues. They will need time to adjust to the physicality and speed of the Championship, something MC has asked for. The midfield has been a problem for years. Christ, im even starting to miss Geoff Cameron! You're right, Madsen and Varane have not been great, but then have Field or Colback? The big difference though is that Varane and Madsen have technical ability, so they will get up to speed. Field is never going to be a great passer, he is what he is now. A good example is Willock. When he first signed he was very slight, getting knocked off the ball, but you could see he was technically good. Come the following season he was was much bigger and able to use that ability and match players physically. Some on here are writing players off, when , I'm afraid, patience is going to be needed. Every player signed in the summer has been an upgrade, and they will come good. |

Jesus, it's already started. MC asked for time for the new signings to get up to speed. We lost today due to a sending off, until that point it was pretty equal. I really don't get 'fans' who make sweeping statements about individual players - Saiko physically poor, Celar disappointing, virane has no redeeming features blah blah blah. |

Annoying. Varane looked a booking for me, but hey ho. Smyth off, as he is absolute plop, and Madsen in. Escape with a point would be fantastic, but unlikely. |
| Forum Reply | Loan Deal for Alfie Tuck at 12:00 28 Sep 2024
Tuck is only just 18, whereas Drewe, Pedder etc were still being loaned out at 21 +. It's for 3 months to get some mens football experience. I imagine in January he'll be loaned out again to higher league team, if he has done well. |

Just remembered, why were some against Millwall singing that Alfie Lloydd is one of our own? He's not, we signed him from Yeovil. |

On the interweb twitter X telegraph pole thing that a new deal has been agreed. |

He looks a bit slight, bet that's why a NL team wouldn't take a risk. |

I'll laugh if it is just Judd the Cat and that Tiger mascot sitting on high stools. Noury whispers the answers to any questions to them, who then proceed to inform those in attendance of the answer through the medium of mime. You'll all leave with as much knowledge of the club as you went in there with. |

Going to ask a daft question here. Why dies it matter if Marti is not at the forum? Noury has said we have a 'QPR' style he wants implemented, the signings are done by the data/recruitment team. I'm just trying to understand what MC could actually say. He's employed by QPR (Noury) to ensure the team plays the QPR style with the players he's given. That's about his remit. He doesn't sign players, can't change style, not involved with the Academy. He's a coach, that's it. |

Do think we would miss it if/when we left. Night games are the best, can't wait fir the first next week. |

My boss is a massive Wimbledon fan and is heavily involved with them. He showed me the video yesterday morning and the first question I asked was 'are the stands going to be OK?". Apparently, it's all to do with modern pitches laying on a bed of sand. Not sure I'd feel to confident about living there though! |

I thought top 10 and haven't changed my mind. Even think 8th. Not firing as we bed in new players, yet only 1 lose, is an OK start. And I think Varane playing that central midfield role will be key. |
| Forum Reply | Frey and Nardi drag QPR through clunky Millwall show - Report at 11:55 23 Sep 2024
Great report and summed up the frustration at having to sit through that performance. I keep seeing a team with the handbrake on who appear scared to play the way MC wants them to. That is where my frustration is coming from. If the handbrake came off you could see this team ripping teams like Millwall apart. |
| Forum Reply | Anderson at 18:36 22 Sep 2024
He appears to be one of those players that does well in a team that is firing on all cylinders. We aren't, and it's not coincidence that his form isn't great either. He has also had that knock, and he has been thrown back in straight away. I think it says a lot that MC has put him in rather Smyth. I know people got on his back after that dreadful cross in the 2nd half, but that was not what he has usually done. Whereas Smyth never picks the right cross, hence Anderson is ahead if him.
