I’m pretty meh about the Saudi thing. Shouldn’t be allowed but Pandora’s box was opened a long time ago.
Good for an English manager and team with plenty of English players to win something. Doesn’t happen often. They seem like a good bunch by modern football standards and Howe is likeable enough. The interview with Guimaraes after was lovely. |

Went to a Chester v Wrexham derby a decade or so ago and I’ve never seen hatred quite like it. About 4000 there and nearly as many police, helicopters, fans bussed in. The lot. Kicked off before the game when Chester fans (I think one or two did time after and multiple bans) sang about a Wrexham fan who had just died during a minute’s silence for a Welsh mining disaster which felt a bold move at the time given both sides were clearly agitating for it to kick off and it duly did throughout. |

Think they’ll go up despite Farke. Absolute madness with the options they have to play the same team as Wednesday and make one late sub after bringing Gnonto at half time. I’m pretty sure if they’d mixed it up more/earlier they’d have scored again. Poor manager IMO.
Fair play to Dunne spending the whole game on a yellow (a thick yellow) and Solomon doing very little for 85 mins. |

Can’t remember now and someone will correct me but doesn’t a red card challenge like that have to have used “reckless” or “excessive” force? Yeah he catches him high but I think it’s incredibly soft and what was/wasn’t a free kick or card seemed to vary wildly throughout.
Saying that, silly and unnecessary challenge to make like that to give the referee that option. Especially so with Chair out. |

Just nice to see us play with some heart after the dross of the last week. Leeds, for the players they have, were poor IMO and we gave them a bit too much respect if anything but still have to commend the defence on Nardi having not loads to do at 2-2.
Game was crying out for earlier subs IMO from both teams. Andersen was miles off it for me but others will see things differently.
Make no mistake though we’re in a battle if we lose at Stoke. I think we’ll have enough to fall over the line but we’re making hard work of it. |

Son is a shadow of the player he once was, Brennan Johnson has been pretty meh according to Spurs fans I know, Maddison not exactly brilliant after a good start. Don’t think it’s that implausible.
United just a general mess but I’m not sure he’s the sort of player Amorim wants.
Villa I could see possibly assuming they lose Rashford and Asensio. Newcastle perhaps. Even Arsenal I don’t think is a mad stretch given they need options on the left / ‘ten’. Appreciate he’s not had a brilliant season but for what is now a reasonable price at that level he’d have takers. |

Is that Matthew Rose waltzing in from the left wing to set up a goal?
The third division promotion season and one before were the best. Possibly because I was 12/13 at the time but seemed to go to all sorts of weird and wonderful places rather than Blackburn. |

Believe his form has been better recently but he was getting pelters a few months ago for a string of massive ricks. The late equaliser at Sunderland and one at Hull they went on to mess up would’ve shamed Ademole Bankole. |

Four of the five they brought on would be comfortably in our team if not the stars.
Farke has been getting some flak for not rotating enough. If we can have a shot occasionally (one can dream) the goalkeeper is the one weak link. |

Nothing more QPR than playing well and beating the best team in the league out of the blue.
A day’s extra rest for the little it’s worth but I’m sure they’ll bring in a fresh three or four players we could only dream of having. |
