He done it all back to front this time, lost his head then settled it all down.

Fingers crossed he keeps them up.

Appliance Repairs - Who Bothers these days?
at 20:10 28 Jan 2025

Interesting debate, I used to run a Service centre mainly focused on laptop and console hardware repair, Devices that used to cost £1000 now go for sub £500, Streamlining and outsourcing of spares and distribution is also a major factor in why so much is also returned to the like of amazons who just pallet it up and usually flog it at a loss.

You also have manufacturers actively trying to prevent self repair to keep the likes of farmer in their clutches in a never ending cycle of service charges, see 'right to repair'

There is even a new tactic in production to prevent consumers repairing there own devices where IC Chips on PCB boards are obscured with chemical 'blobs' to make them impossible to identify and therefore replace. Blobchips ! (some are in fact chips without the ceramic to lower costs in production - still irreplaceable)

Really is a minefield.

If all fit and firing, who's first choice at CB?
at 17:58 22 Jan 2025

Morrison is ours, got to play him when fit.

Relying on Cook after he recovers just recreates the problem we are currently solving. Think we need to look forward with what we own.

Post Edwards planning is where I'm at.

Blimey Argyle TV, its the championship and these two do the half time coverage. Give us a break.

Oh and it's Michy Frey.

Not Michele Frei, Michele Fry or any of the other iterations you have attempted.

What a joke club.

Enjoyed the second half less than the first. Usual mistakes against decent side.
