I think maybe Pepe coaches out the natural exuberance of a certain type of player- I would hate to see that happen to Eze. Spurs style of play looks like a fit.
He's going to get targeted more and more. Unless he works out how to deal with it, it's going to be a real problem going forward. A shame, because in terms of shot stopping and all round likeablity, he's up with the best.
Anyone who listened to the wonderful audio documentary series 'Gangs of The EPL' will understand just what effect being forced to play as 'the golden shower' might have on a set of players.
Yes, I think you should use swear words. All the time. (In my bid to become the most popular poster on LFW, if i can get McCarthy banned, I'll move up one place to 237th. My final goal is not far off, relatively).
Yeah, a small squad, undone by injuries and a raft of new signings not familiar with the championship. Even at this stage, our centre forward options are Michi and Alfie, both likeable for sure, but.... I'm not convinced Chair has fully recovered from his back injury yet. Refs seem to be letting a lot go this season (which I actually don't mind, within reason), I think this may be contributing to his quieter performances. But as a team, we don't cope well with teams taking a more physical approach. Nardi certainly struggles with this, I'm wondering if his confidence has taken a bit of a knock recently. Likewise Smyth, albeit for different reasons. He was living his best, central to so much. Yang is brought in, don't think he's been on it in quite the same way since. Big summer coming up.
The second goal, Paal losing his man, had he not pushed up as we attempted to play out? The dangers of that type of football, more than anything.
Their threads should be OK, as long as they stay off politics... A sight of some of the unseen work Northern does. A thankless task at times....but thanks, Clive.
Without a doubt. Bloke really gets to me. The pictures of him as a kid, excited to be in the stands watching us. He's one of us, living the dream, and he's carelessly tossed it away, while at the same time tieing down wages which could be enabling another, more honest young man, to be living his dream.
